I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

made a map, was reminded of how hard it is to make maps look decent with vx rtp, and with the vx map editor in general
but it's worth the effort i think
gonna try to make time to do at least a little bit of work on the game each day
i am stubbornly sticking with it cause it has tiles i need for one of my dungeons that mack doesn't have
my big problem is map editor things like the autoshadowing anyway (which i did try to fix with a script but i coudn't get it to make any difference)

Firstly, the grass tiles don't even blend in with the floor tiles at all. And secondly, the water tiles just don't fit in either.

The problem that I've noticed with you especially but others here as well, is that you miss my point entirely, and assume I'm thinking of something else. My map doesn't suck considering that all I have to do is fix some matching changes. But I never remembered saying my map was great at all. Especially since this is the first time I am using XP. So how about thinking for a second?
The point I was making was the fact that I wasn't using the RTP. But if you had asked, then you wouldn't have said the above quote wouldn't you? All you guys need to chill.
Yes, I know the map isn't a masterpiece, but an alright first try in my eyes for a engine I just used this week.

Raekwon's map needs lots of help (why the malformed high-rise and the weird grass tile changes?) but that doesn't give you an excuse to be a douche, eplipswitch.

And now, to keep things on track...
I've been stuck with this scene for three god-damn weeks, three! I didn't know what to do with it at first, but now I'm finally almost done with it, the only things left to do are finishing to sprite the boat and making a lightmap for the room so it looks spiffy and all.
