Considering "dat ass", I don't think so.?

Her long face and giant nose make her look kind of ugly. Or maybe kind of like a transvestite. Maybe that's exactly what you're going for?

It's actually the quality of the drawing that makes her look kind of ugly! XD It's not a very good one. OTL
A large nose and long face can look lovely on a lady~ B) Also, I'm not trying to go for the typical JRPG tits mcgee lady character, so I'm glad she doesn't look exactly like that!

BUT SHE'LL STILL BE HAWT SNAWT, GUUUUURL~; Just not in the archetypical way! ;3
Is she the lesbian pirate?

Is she the lesbian pirate?

She is indeed the lesbian pirate. B)
Yay! She looks like she'll be cool once you're done.
Suggestin: She'd look good in a hat.
Not so serious suggestion: Give her a monocle.
Give her an Eyepatch of Power! ^^ But that's so sterotypical of pirates, and knowing your design choices emmy, you're probably going to stay away from that.

Also, tits mcgee. lol That is so true of many female RPG characters. I'm guilty. ><
@Gourd_Clae: Hrrm, a hat, huh? I'll have to give that a go! She would be the type for a giant, ridiculous hat... XD

@Luchi: Hahaha, if I had a reason to make her lose an eye, she'd totally get an eye patch. XD If she did, though, it'd have to be jewel encrusted or something. Jasira likes her accessories. OTL

Writing out the bio for Blood Rose's antagonist. He isn't really a villain, persay- he's just against what every else wants. He's also not a happy bunny in general.

Also, have a Blood Rose-style Ralph:

Krysty your artwork has improved so much that it's not even funny. Looks great >>b

@Nessiah: ooh some sort of awesome ice witch? :D I really love the contrast on the upper-torso's shading, looks really nice. also cleavage.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

It feels like it shouldn't take nine hours to make one character sprite.

Of course at some point I'm going to have to make battle poses for her, which will take five times as long. But I think I'll procrastinate that for a few more months/years.

At least I was able to start her introductory scene, wherein she firebombs a dude, jumps off the roof of a house, and greets you cheerfully.

Heh, I don't enjoy spriting, but I do it sometimes. Even when I use the RTP style, it feels like it takes forever. Tilesets are much easier for me.

Did you know there are basically no RMXP sprites of middle schoolers? There are only small children and adults. I had to make the body frame from scratch. Not that shrinking the adult frame was that hard, but it still surprised me, given the number of RPGs starring thirteen-year-old boys who topple the government and save the world.

@Nessiah: that is a large woman. Hero or villain or other?
Hi,

I am new here and I am new to Rpg maker.
So, at the moment, I am trying various things like mapping for my little game.
I am making my game on rpg maker Vx Ace. I can't wait for the full release.

I used Victor's scripts to put an atmosphere to my maps : Fog and lights.

Sorry for my bad english.

@Chaos17:
For being new to RPG Maker those are quite good! Especially the forest. I don't like that style of dense trees, but I'm not sure what other options there are in RPG Maker VX Ace.

Try making the shop a little smaller so there is less empty floor space. Or add more furniture. The rugs help, but it still seems big and empty.
I am currently working on three projects.

One I consider my "Beginner" project. I have not done much research on this but thought since I've never used RM before to start small. To get a feel for the engine. Thinking of doing a Dragon Quest 1 remake. Just the first town and dungeon with a small world map. Maybe use the sprites for one of the Dragon Quest SNES games. Leaning towards XP unless there is something I can find in VX or VXAce that makes it the better choice. I should probably play Dragon Quest 1 until the end of the first dungeon though since it has been a while.

My second project is a RPG based off the Everquest universe. It's the first MMO I played and have always been in love with the lore and background of it all. It's right now in the Research phase. Looking really into what I will use. Which NPCs are vital to my story. Whether to go with an in-game story, make an original one, or do a twist on an already done storyline. Figuring which party members to include. So far I have 8 Permanent PCs with 1 extra PC who after a certain plot twist joins your party if you want them to.
Also researching which PC spells/skills to include. Looking up the zones on my maybe list to see if they have enough stuff to stand out from the others and play at least some part of the jumbled and not quite finished by a longshot storyline so far in my head. Even after a first lookover I've been able to reduce the amount of zones from about 250 to about 130.

(If it takes this much work to make a game with most NPCs and settings already made I can't imagine what a game made from scratch takes. My hats off to everyone here doing something original from scratch.)

Third project started off as an idea for a novel. Then while I was working on the storyline for Project # 2 it hit me that this can also be worked into a RPG game since it has alot of the elements of a good RPG and it has more fight scenes than your average novel and it actually flows in my head a bit better as a RPG than a novel. Right now its looking like alot of party members come and go which I like since it always changes the dynamic of the battles and you get to use all the characters and can truly form an opinion on whether a character is good or not. Really now that I think about it, in my mind its looking like a cross media project. Possibly dividing the game into chapters like the novel and each game chapter either retelling or expanding on the novel chapter or vice versa.

I know three projects may sound like alot but I'm comfortable with that and it allows me when I'm in RM mode and feeling burned out/frustrated/lacking ideas for 1 project to jump to another.
Working on a 320x240 monster sprite. :O
Just spent 4 hrs trying to fix a bug, but it's gone now e_e;
Trying to fix mapping passability issues now.
I'm working on my first (technically second- my first I made when I was 10 and it was horrible) full-length RM game currently entitled 'The Sword of Serenity' (I'm trying to think of a better title).

It plays like a tradtional RPG with elements like quests and synthesis, but I hope people will see the story as not fitting the usual RPG cliches, though it might not seem so at first.
