Niiice. Not that i'm surprised. Unity is proving to be a very useful engine. Might have to make the switch eventually.
Yeah, the build was mostly painless once I got all the necessary SDKs updated, and it scaled perfectly. Eats battery life right now, though; around 2% per minute! I will have to pare that down just a bit.
Ahh, that's looking good, Deltree!
Gah, I miss working in Unity! it's so fun and easy to just do whatever you want~ I mean, I had to fail at it for like 5 years to get to that point, but still :P

Just a little something small. Important points have exclamation points over them, so there's no need to check each and every object.

Not sure if I'll keep this idea or not.

It's kinda okey...but it may make the player lose intrest in exploration.
Could always have them be turned on/off in the options menu. I like them personally, but I can see how they'd discourage others.
SgtMettool, I would consider setting the clock and other 'bouncing' sprites to be at a slightly different speed than the exclamation marks. It's very distracting to me, yet simultaneously makes them all blend together, to see the !s and the environmental objects bouncing to the same beat
I'll look into that as well. I'm using a simple script that slows down sprite animation universally, but if there's anything available for individual events I'll take a look.
Currently working on a character trailer for my game. Since all I have are RTP assets, and most of the work has been done system wise and in making a lot of unique character playstyles, I figure that would be best to show off whats been done so far, as opposed to screenshots. 'course, I've done blog posts about that, but I guess seeing is better than reading?
At the moment I am working on a game that simulates an MMORPG, since I've only seen one game that does that.
That depends on what part of an MMO you're trying to emulate. If its the boss fights, FFXII had very MMO-styled long boss fights with intricate tactics, as do a few other RPGs. An indie game on steam, Thats a Wipe! simulates the guild mechanics and people being idiots at times during boss fights.
Not to dissuade you, but make sure you focus on one thing/part of the experience you want to work on.

Prologue of an English-only project I'm working on: Witch Way to save the World ? or WWW.
The people walking in the corridor are Mrs. Stassie's colleague's students. They've drunk their "brain-destroying potions" and now they're singing a nice Happy Birthday to you ! I think I should make a video of that weird moment.

I'm trying to completely emulate playing an MMO like in Dot.Hack//G.U. I want to give the player as many options as I can so they can play the game as they'd like.
Working on that silly castlevania clone of mine.
I am finally getting somewhere. SgtMettool is too!

I've picked up work on my game again, and when I was writing, accidentally introduced a character that wasn't on the initial roster, so I squealed with glee at the thought of creating new characters. (the battle sprites are rips/edits of FF Record Keeper sprites.) And when it came time to editing them. I took one look at the sprite sheets and thought "I can't do this" and got real dejected, but then the other day I took another look at them and thought "No, I will do this I might be able to pull it off." and thus managed to change

It's a little rough around the edges, but with a bit more TLC I reckon It'll look half way to decent.

You might want to use our screenshot thread instead if you are going to use screenshots ^^
