working on a dump for my earthbound game
That dumpster is amazing! It makes me want to make one.
^ awesome area!
There is plenty of visual interest in your screen shot, from your choice of color palette to the variation in texture.
Just curious, is that for a current project you are actively working on, or is it from an old project? I would really like to walk around on that map.

Thank you Liberty! ;D And it's currently being finished up Cuervo. :)
Lotus, wow! The amount of detail in that engine is astounding. I love how you've taken the ordinary REFMAP stuff and given it new life with such vibrancy and realism there. The shadows and lighting... mmmfff. You could do so much creatively with that interface.

Blindmind's map is heartwarming, really ;_;
Nnngh, so beautiful -- and @LotusGames indeed that's a pretty cool and extensive engine you've got there.
I'm really digging it in that video, btw nice floor texture and awesome song choice *u*
As for mine, uh, well...
I'm a poor mapper,even if I remade the tiles myself xD

@Blindmind: That means a lot coming from you, thanks brother! ~Sano
@JS: Thanks so much, my hard work is definitely paying off..this would be the start of my dream game for sure.

@Blindmind: Wow, that sure is one crazy detailed tileset..? ^^ There's a lot going on, reminds me of.. I dunnow... a specific SNES game...
@Lotus: That's nice and lovely, I can see that work as a game or online game. ( The character is not quite the fastest runner tho, eh? ^^ Maybe you can level this ability up? )
@Josephseraph: Ah! You know what yours reminds me of? Sega Master System or Genesis RPGs.. ^^ Because of the colors and edges.

From a horror-ish game I was making.

For this short-lived project I made a town with open interiors like seen here. The problem? Try making a decent-sized town run without lag...

Here's the throne room intro for funzies (all that exists of this project), but while making this scene I realized how well 7th Saga's mechanics actually translate to Rpg Maker, and how long overdue this game is for a proper remake... one that would make more use of its interesting mechanics than the original game did... and being 178% less grindy in the process as well.

Haven't posted in a while, but I've made some real progress compared to last image I posted ages ago.
@BlindMind: Hey, dude! Didn't think I'd see you again.
^ wow gorgeous graphics! Really love the colours used and that character! Reminds me of zelda and minish cap. My only nitpick would be those somewhat sharp edges with grass and mud. If you could get some more roundness to them?
@arcan: Really cute. 0range00 stated it already, but I also think the mud/dirt edges are a bit weird.
Some of my WIP maps that still need their final touches + the lighting effects. Any ideas how to make the hallway more interesting?

@Schwer-von-Begriff
I made a hallway that is pretty much exactly the same shape as that one except a door at the top instead of at the bottom, heh.

This port town and eventing took most of yesterday. ><
And it's not even that big... ;_; 203rd map too.

@yuna21: That looks really nice. Simple, but it has that certain atmosphere that makes it all really cute. I would put a boat or something somewhere in the water, but otherwise it is really nice. =)
I just finished the core map of one of the hallways. Still needs it's lighting effect, a few NPC's and it's final touches. Any ideas what I could add, what might be missing?

Maybe a floor directory in between the two elevators? Or a floor indicator light above each elevator? Obvs that'd be a pain in the neck to animate extensively, but it could be something as simple as a black box that turns green when the elevator arrives.
Anyway, those are just stylistic flourishes. I think it's looking pretty good.

@Schwer: I like it. Nice and simple. =)
Oh, and I took some of your advice. Made a character graphic of the RMXP boat so it bobs up and down in the water. Did a similar thing for the harbour walls. Since it looks a bit weird with no water line mark.
I think I had a little too much fun when making this town.
