THE SCREENSHOT TOPIC RETURNS

You've done it again, Snow. It's an excellent blend of fairytale and a disquieting atmosphere. The attention to detail is astounding; it makes me think of Where the Wild Things are + London's Hunterian Museum

Doing some significant storyline overhauls. Splitting Beloved Rapture into more of a "chapter"-like structure to hopefully allow for more fluid character development and backstory. Many heroes now age throughout various chapters--aka you can witness their development over several years within the game and play as their younger iterations, etc.

I implemented a database entry generator into my game.
The most entertaining and pointless piece of code I've "written" in a while.
author=yuna21Looks like a better Phantasy Star than the modern ones.author=Blindmindi'm an old dinosaur using rm2k3

I like RM2K3 because it guarantees you are more likely to go retro than go crazy with scripts and other fancy stuff. Beautiful map there.
^ dunno man, what's caring less than giving two middle fingers? That's what i'm seeing anyway :P no idea what's going on but looks interesting.
@Blindmind: Heh...wish I could map half as good as that Blind. Really do...great looking map!
@Cashmere: What is that exactly? o.o?

I think I have bad news for you :P
Though I gotta say, you and Xenomic have a point.
What is that? Looks like something really cool, but I can't figure it out.
Maybe it's just a puzzle map?

Current WIP of second to last or last puzzle area of this dungeon (map #6). If it's not the last puzzle area, then there's going to be one more rest area with a recharge spot, one more puzzle area, the save point, and then boss, hitting 10 maps for this dungeon which was the quota for maps originally in older dungeons. This isn't terribly complex or anything though, but if the player goes through the correct path, they will always be one charge short of getting through (there's a hidden charge point behind a tree, which doesn't require a charge to get to). If I do make one more map, need to figure out how to make it more complex...the ice sliding isn't used that much, nor does it really do much other than force the player to take a path that they need to take anyways...and since this is the Frozen Plains, I'm trying to not add TOO many things that aren't very plain-like. But I'm not sure what would constitute as such so...yeah. @_@
I.E. I am still bad at making puzzles. *Sigh*
That looks amazing Felipe! ;D Was this rendered in 3D with textures or just painted traditionally? I think the coloring/lighting is great, maybe just work on the perspective a little bit with some of the objects (the table, door, chandelier, etc). They come across as a bit flat in contrast to the rest of it.

2d Textures transformed at hand in Photosho (Basically everything was a flat 2d texture Free Transform FTW :3)
Glad you liked it, yeah i need to fix some of the stuff there (specially that desk :c)
It's been a while since I last posted in the screenshot thread! Let's change that, shall we?
A test to make a town using the Samurai Tiles. This is just a WIP so far, so that's the reason why doors and npcs/animals are left out.
Here's is a bigger view from the editor:
I must say, the tiles sure are vibrant and rich in color!
