SANDAL CONFIRMED MAIN CHARACTER DRAGON AGE 3

My party was my Main Character (Warrior, damage dealer), Aveline (Tank), Varric, and Merrill (who I romanced).
Wow... How'd you roll without a healer? I can't imagine playing some of the encounters without a spirit healer... though maybe that's just hard mode.

I was healed throughout the battle constantly and I don't know why. I hardly used any potions. Maybe it was because Anders and Bethany were still at my side, though not in my party? I had eight guest party members, so that might have something to do with it. :p

During the boss fight, you're automatically healed to full after certain phases. A balance measure since it would have been nearly impossible without a healer unless you had 30 or so potions.
Hm, I take back what I said about this game before. It's actually pretty good! The demo wasn't a good representation of this game. It's probably because I enjoy the character interactions a lot, which was absent there. But, like everyone says, the environments become way too stale. I was starting to notice even in Act 1. The implementation of a central hub works almost perfect mechanically, but it lacked...I guess the "magic" that is supposed to sustain something like that.

I haven't beaten it yet, but I enjoy this. The combat is a+. I...I like this game.
Varric is my favorite character, every time someone gets too moody or caught up in their own tragic back story he immediately snarks at them.
Whats with Carver, anyway? I haven't played a game as a woman hawke, is he the Carth / Kaiden of this game or something?

Conquest is made from the ashes of one's enemies.

I have no idea about Carver. If you play as a warrior (or a rogue, I think) Carver
is the sibling killed in the introduction
instead of Bethany. For me he is just something that the mother cries about a lot.

Bethany takes his place if you are a mage. I just wrapped up the first chapter.

Carver wasn't nearly as whiny as I thought he would be. It tells you that virtually everything he has done has been overshadowed by you. And letting him become a Grey Warden sort of gave me a sense of relief knowing that in the end he will do something to set himself apart.
yeah, carver seems way worse in the intro but after that he's actually, like, not a tool

also way more interesting than bethany is + has some pretty great dialogue with fenris re: a mabari tattoo

My mind is full of fuck.

Played the demo, it was nice, nearly had my chars killed by that huge orc boss.

Actually I don't think you can die during that opening, you get constantly healed(not from Bethany I think). I don't really like the demo much, it doesn't really show off the more tactical side of the game enough.
