I was on the fence before Ciel's response to my post around page 5 or so, but at this point, I really do think that every single person who primarily identifies as a "shrimp" should probably just leave or get banned. All 30 of them if necessary. The only ones I'd want to stay at all are like YDS and Ocean. And I guess VW (and again: wtf???).

Ultimately, their attitude is incompatible with that of RMN's main userbase. Because ultimately, beneath all the bullshit, their attitude is "we're better than you". Not just "we're better than you", but "we're so much better than you that we don't have to be helpful or nice". If you think that we're ignorant peons and we know that you're elitist douchebags, why even attempt to cohabitate this corner of the internet? May RMN and MD each go forth and mak gams and may the best gams win.

This is the kind of incredible stupidity that makes much of this user base intolerable for an individual of discerning taste.

It is my opinion, my perception, that I constantly see you guys trashing on games because they have RTP, or similar things that are completely visual in nature. As though a game with RTP graphics somehow could not be good. It is my opinion in that observing your IRC channel, you consistently use 'VX' as a synonym for 'crap'. I have seen these things happen, seen this prejudice throughout your thinking.

Oh, and by the way, I also find your hatred of probabilistic mechanical elements in RPGs baffling. It would be like hating an RPG for having characters. Probabilistic mechanical elements are a core component of what defines the RPG genre. No roleplaying game can be purely probabilistic or purely deterministic, all must include elements of both.
