I am extremely pleased to know there's still a community online that's enthusiastic about RM2K3 and other versions of that product. I thought those gamemakers were a dying breed. It inspires me to work on a new project, and I hope I can contribute to this community well :]

Welcome to RMN :D
Rm2k3 is actually still going strong, don't fret! :3
well, I am getting pretty old...

Welcome to RMN! Contribute lots!
WELCOME! are you tft's brother or something...
I'm not entirely sure who tft is, so I'm guessing not haha. And that's good to hear! I do adore RM2K3. I'm already fiddling around right now. I used to be a big contributor to GamingW.net back when it was around. It's good to have a community again.
Hello mate..! Yes I too worry that RPG Maker 2003 might one day get stale in the eyes of the community but so far I think its sill the best...

And welcome to RMN... I rememer Gamingw.net too... Did u release anything back in the day we might remember..? :-)
I was more popular for my short humorous games, including the much-debated series The Epic Saga (controversial because people either really hated it or really loved it). I also made numerous parody games, including the Wizard Of Odd that never released. On that site, I was called Real.
2k3 will -- never -- die as long as RMN is alive!

Welcome to the forums, bro. Make us some games and party like it's 1999! :D

not THAT indy, right?
I'm guessing I'm not whichever Indy you're referring to hah. I'm completely new to this place, although I remember scoping it out back in the day... unless I'm thinking of a different site. Indie is just my nickname, and my username for most sites.

And no problem! I will, indeed, make games and party like it's 1999. Good year.
