How do you hold a pencil? Show me! K-hos holds it the weird way. This is how I hold one.

It's so totally different.
Just about the same as you guys actually
I would show you my hands, but they're mostly all red and dried up. Too much work, probably. :D

But, yeah, I hold my pencils and pens the same way you guys do.

Dude, sharpen your pencil, I feel bad for you.

No way, soft edge is beautiful for sketching. I use my sharpened tips for final lines, pre-ink.

I actually like sketching with sharper points, I use a mechanical pencil with a 0.5 size lead in it.

Of course I use the same thing for 'finish' stuff. Not that there is really a difference between my sketch and finish. >_>

I have been told I hold a pencil very oddly.

I too have been told I hold a pencil weird.

My style, which I've apparently been unable to grow out of. From what I remember this is far from ideal

ugh. I need to cut my nails.

I hold it like that too, actually. I never thought about it...
After re-evaluation, I hold my pen exactly like Kentona. I was messing with my hand for the picture.

Although after trial, both are pretty comfortable but my writing is completely different between the two.

I hold it the same autistic way as you do.

I was a left hander in kindergarten but my nursery nurse told me that its the wrong way to write/draw and that I always should write/draw with my right hand, so maybe now that's the effect of suppressing my "left-handedness".

Yeah the 90's...

EDIT: Are those cards from MAGIC in the background? Loved this shit when I was young.

Erm... So those are the most common way to hold a pencil comfortably? Because I never considered my way of holding and using a pencil that odd before I saw this topic.
