Final Fantasy vs. Dog

For those wondering, this game is actually based off a game I played many years ago on Newgrounds called: AOL vs Final Fantasy.

Which should sort of explain why this tech demo is sort of cutscene heavy – Having Cecil, simply fight the dog, didn’t seem like it was enough, so I wanted to throw in a few more playable characters in there, but wanted to do it in a way that was entertaining and progressed through the demo:

...kind of like, a lot of the cutscene heavy Boss Battles found in Final Fantasy IV,
But also kind of like a lot of the short movies/games you'd find on Newgrounds.

Yeah it reminded me of Final Fighting Fantasy where the characters are slightly fanficy and things are a little out of context. Good ol days.

I wanted to mention this while it’s still fresh in my mind – I actually got in touch with SplashKhat, the creator of Final Fighting Fantasy, awhile ago cause, one of things I wanted to do eventually was to turn Final Fighting Fantasy: Gaiden into a playable game rpgmaker2003 game. And it’d be really easy to do because most of that flash movie is just battles strunged together with cutscenes etc – It’d just be a bigger version of Final Fantasy vs. Dog.

This would be really fun to do, but no promises though, I just wish I had the time to do it.
