Ashley Winchester is the name of the male protagonist of a little game known as Wild Arms 2 for the PSX. There are some names that are/were meant to be unisex i.e.: Casey, Jessie, Alex, Avery, and others. I think it's fair to use names freely in RPGs, after all, the community constantly asks for creators to defy conventions.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.
