Alter A.I.L.A. takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, on a remote plateau: one of the last remaining land masses above sea level. You play the role of a young prisoner, who among others, have had their memories erased, and must now fight for their lives everyday for the entertainment of others. From here, the story can go in 3 separate directions, depending on your choice during the prologue.

The 3 Sides:

Rebel: On this route, you'll join up with a rebel faction created to stop the dictatorship of Kugar, the overlord. Your motives are ultimately summed up in overthrowing Kugar and establishing peace and human rights for all.
Imperial: On this route, you'll support Kugar's regime, and work towards crushing the rebellion. All resistance must be terminated.
Independent: On this route, you won't join up with either side. Whoever rules does not matter to you. Your one goal is to be free.

I reminded myself how "The Way" sticked me to computer. Now "Alter A.I.L.A." did the same. Awesome character skills, twisted stroyline, cyberpunk atmosphere and butt-kicking musing make this game a must-have for every RM-player!
I'm following the independent's route, and I'm stuck on the fight x Green. She's just too powerful for me. Any tips?
Her weakness if fire or Burn element, so the most straightforward way to beat her is to use Combat Drugs, then spam Napalms. If you don't have enough money, save using Napalms until she starts using her second set of attacks. Use Red Stimulants to heal when necessary.
I just used the Regen/Trance/Aware items and then spammed Tinder Specials (Base vs. Human).
I think we got the money thing covered on the last page. Buy up summa dem napalms, boi!
Huh. Got an 'Access violation "RPG_RT.exe" in module 004993B7 with address 00000348 and offset Read occured.' Crashed the game just before the first fight with Red and Orange against those drones. Bummer.
Damn. That's an error outside what rm2k3 lets me handle. Sorry :(
I'm pretty stoked to try this out, but for some reason none of the dialogue shows up, even on the title screen... any ideas how to fix this?

Restart your computer.

If that doesn't work reinstall the 2 fonts used by RM2K3:
MS Gothic
MS Mincho

If you don't have them in your Window's Font folder, then download them from here:
Drakonais, you should try restarting your computer too.
GOTTA DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! *clicks download button*
Why is there a new download?
I was playing it last weekend, and saw some bugs that I felt like fixing. There's no new content though, so don't worry about downloading it again unless you're planning on holding onto it or anything like that.
I have a question.
Blue,Green,Indigo,Orange,Red,Violet,Yellow,White and Black
are an A class criminal right?
so how can a child like Indigo can be an A class criminal?
What did she do that makes her an A class Criminal?
I'm leaving that up to your imagination :P
I just assume she killed her parents and leave it at that.

I ran into a bug in the fight with
Kugar (saint)
during the 4th story. Every time I use Black's PK powers my game crashes, so just a heads up not to do that.
Also, the teleporter puzzle is freakin' hard! I'm still stuck!
Hmm, that's odd. It's the first time this has happened. Make sure you have all the graphic files because the game will crash if it calls a graphic and that graphic is missing.

For teleporter puzzle:
hey, neok, just so you know

the reason why I've always ranted about this game (from it's release up until now) is because it's so damn good. so anyone who either browses through reeaaally old GW threads or some posts on rmn, to clariify; play this game. It is probably one of those select few RMN games you'll play to completion (not to mention I did it three or four times).

Man, I should probably do an incredibly late review or something.
Thanks buddy. I dunno, I'm kinda lukewarm about the whole game since.. well you know what AAG's like in comparison. Looking at this just reminds me of what a poor game designer I was back in the day. :(
