Huh. I have no clue where I'm going with Emiko. I mean, I figure there would be some kind of turning point where Emiko feels more comfortable accepting <player> as a boyfriend. Maybe even a lover. However, I've not defined that moment. I guess what that moment is must make sense with how I see the pair develop.

So, how does this pairing develop? This is the question I need to ask myself. Emiko's job and passion as a gamer is where I start, but she has other hobbies. I don't see <player> being interested in gardening as a general rule, though I could suppose it could be construed as a SOUL-check. Hanging out at the club isn't as-so-much a hobby as it is a way for Emiko to unwind. As such, I sincerely doubt that hanging out with her there is going to advance her route in any significant way.

Though, perhaps, what Emiko's route needs is a good, old-fashioned crisis. An event that allows <player> the opportunity to show that he's reliable, and cares about what happens to her. A bit cliche, maybe, but I'm not seeing how else these two are going to get together.

It's an April Fool's joke. See this thread for more details.

Also, I'm not seeing this where I go. All I get is a jump to the bottom of the page.

*Edit: Never mind. I'm seeing a lot more pages being inverted. And I enjoy it.

True ^^
Also it's very hard to a girl just fall in love with someone she bumped three months ago (And the first time Emiko and <player> 'bumped' at each other weren't the best I must say.), <player> aren't a exactly a prince from disney.
Guess that a crisis is nearly mandatory for any girl that start below neutral, <player> needs to show that he can do something. :p

Just don't much clue of what kind of crisis could happen to Emiko... Her account will be hacked, or her boss will turn into a complete j... x3

Offtopic Edit: Just found out on steam about a new picture editing program, which have a (little nerfed of course) free version. My first impressions: It's a creation based photoshop variant, and it's not a bad thing at all.
If someone is having trouble with the floating windows and canvas restrictions on GIMP, you may want to give it try.

A victim of identity theft, eh? Maybe. I've heard scattered stories about how hard it is to get back into good standing after being victimized. Amongst other things. How much <player> can really help with this, though? I have no idea.

Yeah... I don't really know how a civil could xD
Internet have databases of access and network cards have a fixed serial no. which can be located and stuff, but I don't know how much of this info can be gathered even by a average hacker. If the hacker is somewhat known, <player> could be charged with the mission to couterhack the account too, slip a keylogger or something alike to get the account back while Emiko get "clean up" her PC.

On a last, obvious note, we have a whole lot of girls that would like to beat the heck out of a ID thief. Oh wait, Emiko is one of them. :p

Edit2: Got a problem here, when I try to launch the game I get this damn message after loading the files.
For my great happiness, it just appears when my custom content is installed. At first I associated with the fact that Elizamain.txt had passed 100kb, but slice it didn't solved the issue... It still appears without any other branch or whatsover warning.
I'll take a deeper look at it when I get back from work. Can't do anything but argue and wreck the keyboard in the hurry I'm now. "¬¬

I'd like to help, but I have no idea. Could it be something with records file and the custom content? Gah, I'm bad at this.

Anyways, I'm rewriting Makotos' story mostly because she sounds just like a mix of Ruri and Hinami. >_<

Larger files may take longer to load, but file size, by itself, should not throw an exception. Probably.

Though, that error message, and the context it's giving it under, doesn't tell me much. Maybe flowerthief would have an idea, but he comes around less often than a blue moon. For myself, I'd have to actually look at the file in Notepad++ and try to determine what it could be complaining about.

So, I'm trying to have <player> describe Emiko. One of the first things I wrote was...

ID = 0
She's 5'9"

...since not-me people are be able to judge this kind of stuff. Then, I realized that we are in Japan and I should probably use the metric system. Only stupid Americans use the English system, anyways. My thought is to use a rough approximation (3 feet is about 1 meter) which comes out to approximately 192 cm, after rounding. Crapastrophic accuracy aside, I'm hoping this is okay, in general.

It's not okay, and that's because the accuracy is severely crapastrophic. Simply put, the height you're planning to use (192 cm) is about 6'3". Does that seem to be within the normal height range in Japan? No, that's not as important. Is that the height you really want Emiko to be?

The <player> would not be stupid enough to think Emiko is 192 cm. That's the height of a tall man in Japan. Emiko probably does not compare to a tall man in height. It'd be quite surprising if she does.
Actually I'd like to note that the average Japanese female teen plus adults height is 5'2. And what is considered to be tall is 5'6 or 5'7. Just wanted to make you aware of this just in case you didn't know. ;)

Anyone knows Yuu's nickname? :3

How did I miss this post?! Make sure to add Makoto aka KhaosKoto. >_>

Btw, I'm planning for all of my characters to not required clean mode off.

Ooookaaaay, then. Maybe I should re-think this plan.

*Edit: I'm still shooting myself in the foot with the direction this story is going. Dariagaaz, am I shooting myself in the foot!
I just realized that I didn't save any of the story progress I wrote with Eminako, and Ai's routes. I'm going to go hit my head against a fire truck.

I'll help you, friend! Basically what I did to plan out Makoto's route was I estimated how long I wanted her route to be and I outlined all of the events (basically I paraphrased what would happen in the event in a sentence.)

Now since Emiko sells games (from what I believe) you can go many directions with this...

1) My first idea that came to mind when reading Emiko was possibly a career fair event at the school in which could last for a few days.
2) A main conflict could be something totally unexpected, like something happening at the greenhouse or club. I have no idea what this could be but I'll add to the post if I think of something.
3) Well considering Emiko does work at the market street maybe some kind of robbery happened overnight at the stand/store and you could go for that.
4) The "losing the identity" conflict stated above was interesting. Maybe a hacker could of hacked her game account?

I'll add more to that if I think of anything else. If you listed the Personality/Mind/Looks/Etc traits in order that Emiko prefers it would be easier to generate ideas.

I tried one or two times, but I don't got much clue about it.
Sometimes it argue about branch declaratinons, ignoring JUMP comands, and about PLACE statings, ignoring the branch start, on the last event.
It got extra odd when I've deleted the event 64. it started to complain the same things at the event 63. (which he completly ignored before)
The only thing near a clue is that I've recently changed the folders names from "Wolfy_pack" to "Yamisaki"

We use Metric system here, so I decided to give my Two cents too.

Based on 3D and 2D people I decided to let Eliza with 152cm @16Years, to a slightly tsunderish (small) height. :3
As a nore accurate reference, here's a few famous chars and their heights.

Girl (student)
Miyamae Kanako______Maria Holic______173cm-175cm
Akiyama Mio__________K-ON!__________160cm
Hirasawa Yui_________K-ON!__________156cm
Tachibana Kanade_____AngelBeats!_____150cm
Aisaka Taiga_________Toradora!________144.5cm

Male and non-students.
Kraft Lawrence_______Spice and Wolf__178cm
Oreki Hontarou_______Hyouka__________176cm
Koyomi Araragi_______Monogatari______165cm
Sawako Yanabaka______K-ON!___________165cm

Guess that, anything smaller than the "Palm-top tiger" or higher than the "Tokyo tower" is offbounds. For anyone between 1st and 3rd years, taken that Emiko is not a student you may want to add about 7cm to the border vaules.

(My cellphone says that 1 Feet (US) equals to 30,4cm, which lets Eliza with 4'99")

Emiko updated!

Mostly, this update is to show you people what my diabolical master plan is in regards to Emiko, and why I firmly believe that I'm shooting myself in the foot with said plan.

Man, that CONDITION line for STORY 23 is insane.
