Depending on how the author has organized them, it may be necessary to move files to the appropriate directories. (Custom content has not been tested by me)

By the way flowerthief, is there a way to introduce more than one character at once? I noticed you've made a lot of changes to the base game and I didn't know if that was one of them. It would certainly make designing Ran, Torako, and Yumemi easier if that was the case. :)

Edit: And I just realized that Akari's last name is Sato. I'm going to have to come up with a new last name for Yumemi if I don't want lots of crazy fan theories floating around. ;)

Okay, the sentence above is a lie>.> I didn't like how easy it was to decide which choices would give you boyfriend points, but the story flowed well, and left nothing unecessarily hanging in the air. I hope I can cope with you.

And, as for Kyouki... She has something special in storage for Junko in her Friend Route^^ She won't know what hit her until it's too late>:) And that happens if the player makes the right choice! <insert mischievious laughter here> Contradicting the foreshadowing, I think you'll like it.

I recently went and played Joruri's route (or most of it, haven't gotten the ending yet) and I just wanted to say that Aoi's portrayal looks fine. The only thing I might change is to have her have a big smile on her face and say "Byebye, <player>!" before you duck out or something since she's not the type of kid to keep frowning so long over a little thing like that.

Aoi's lines are black, and labeled with "ID = Child" rather than "ID = 15". That was done more for Story Test, because I wanted to differentiate between Aoi's lines and everyone else's. Since I know that she introduces herself to the player during her INTRODUCTION story, not to mention visa-versa, I've not too many qualms making this change that you suggest.

Maybe use the JUMP command? I've not attempted this myself, and therefore have no clue if it would work, but here's what I'm thinking:

Yep, what Marrend said is the way you would have to do it, as I've not added a more straightforward way to introduce multiple characters in a single story event.

Looking at his profile, and clicking on the "posts" link, his most recent activity, at least on RMN, seems to have been on the 13th of October of 2011. I doubt he's fallen off the planet entirely, but I don't really know-know. Nor, I note, does his profile list any way to contact him outside of RMN. This is, partially, why I give out my email address.

I confess, I didn't actually play Meada. I only skimmed the story file. What I did see of it, there were some grammatical errors here and there. I'm guilty of this myself, so don't get all out of whack over it. I checked out the profile on a whim, and found that a reference was off. It read "31/friendly.png", or whatever it was, rather than "Meada/friendly.png". Now, the taiche. What you did for her "lovesick" graphic? That's what you should have been doing with the rest of her tachie. The contrast in quality in reference to her face is quite noticeable.

Perhaps I'm coming off as a little mean-spirited. That's not my intention. It is ever my intention to foster creativity, whatever form it takes. However, it is my belief that you can improve upon your own creation considerably. You just need to be pointed in the right direction. And that means feedback!
thank you marrend i will check out the profile thing and fix it i was trying to give her a mean look and slowly lighten it to love sick and the contrast between love and love sick does bring about a few funny contrasts on a date so i will rework them and like i said all constructive criticisms are welcome yours were very pointed and direct and very constructive so no need to apologize
On my behalf, I have a habit of being rude. Forgive me for that.
The route itself is nice, but lacks content, saying only what's necessary to keep the plot in one piece. It flows very smooth this way, granted, but could use some scenery, inner monologues, smalltalk, something. For intance, the first event. It does give all the info the Player may need, but the way it ended makes you feel like there were some other things to be asked or said.

The second event. I can't understand why would Maeda punish the player for hanging around on the roof. Everybody's free to go up here. And what spineless mockery of a student admits a lie so easily anyway? The Player may be an idiot, but the guy has balls!

But what really blows me off is the 45. event. That ridiculous mind check this early is baffling enough, yet if the player has been to the library group(Which is at the only place you can get mind points at that time), those affection bonuses you get will push her way past friendly before the Player hits 70something. And what's with that attidude of hers? 'if you fail we will no longer have any more study sessions, and on top of that I will leave you alone from now on.' Might as well have said 'IF YOU'RE DUMP WE WON'T BE FRIENDS ANYMORE SRY KTHXBYE'. Not to mention, what's the logic behind that statement? If he's not smart enough to pass a test, she forbids him from a study group? Where ( and I'm going out on a limb here:P) they supposedly study so they can pass tests? This is hardly good reason. And violates the Player's rights via discrimination. If teachers acted that way they'd be out of a job before you had a chance to say "lawsuit".

The ending is just plainly dissapointing. All that work, all those hard checks (You'd need to have 95 Mind and 70 Athletics points for a happy ending? God, and Marrend said getting Kyouki was a hassle.) so you can hear her say those lame, unrealistic lines without any buildup and get a half-assed ending. Sheesh. Why would anyone bother? It's hard, in a boring way, and you get virtually no reward for all the management you'd need. In the end it seemed like you weren't even trying anymore.
thanks dozen the reason why for the ridiculously hard checks was to push the player away and during my first play through I had a hard time getting them so i made it a little easier by adding the continues to the library events and having her dislike you from the start as for the meeting i'll try to work some more dialogue into thank you
ps ill rework the ending so its a custom ending and do a new tachie just for it so it wont seem so bad
Wow. You take it pretty easy. +5 respect, Triad.

But still, those hard checks need to go away, especially if you prefer the route in it's current, short form. It's not just about how hard it is. It's not fun to grind up yourself to victory trough clicking on the same spot each and every day. It's like World of Warcraft without the brainwashing reward system to keep the players going.
i think maybe this was just a too massive of an undertaking for me i just dled the game about two weeks ago so i may put it on the back burner for now and try to make one thats a little less work and you cant ask for constructive criticisms and then get mad when you get it

Yay Junko feedback. :) Yeah, I guess that's just my personal preference coming through. I'm not a big fan of being locked out of routes for not being able to get my stats up quick enough or, worse yet, having no idea what stats to even up. (Mayu, Shoko, Hinami, Tsubasa, I'm looking at you. Especially you Tsubasa. Who knew I'd have to care about my looks on your route?) So I tend to go for simplicity over a challenge. I'll try to make any future routes I write a bit more difficult though. Do you have any other comments on Junko? I tried to make her route realistic and something that would touch someone's heart, while also providing rounded characters, but I'm not sure how well I succeeded.

Sounds interesting! I'm looking forward to it. I'll be glad if Junko ends up having even one friend because given the sacrifices that she's making, I worry for her future if she doesn't end up with the player. My poor baby. *pats*

Well, I guess I'll just program a workaround then. :) My creative juices are really starting to flow. I'm very tempted to write a character that is a...

reverse trap. I need to come up with a good reason for her to be pretending to be a boy though. Since she's a twin, the release would also include the first male character who is planned to have a tachie! I don't plan to write a route for him, but of course if I do end up making the two of them, anyone else who wanted to write a route for him would be welcome to do so, whether now or in a future otome release of this game.


Of course, that presents its own slew of coding problems.

also, it's better if you explain thoroughly Ginji's character. ok, he being a stalker is a fact, but player should investigate more- forget it, I said I won't push my ideals into others...
(the climax is fine, I just think you forced that one a little)
lastly, am I the only one who think that Maeda's theme is a little bit off her character?
(sorry, I don't feel like writing Hanabi's story until my schedule have settled down)
