Announcement

Oh hey... I remember this

I haven't touched rpgmaker in a very long time. I've been planning a classic styled dungeon crawler. Got some nice 8-bit .sprites goin' and a bit of planning. I'm not going to put a page up for a while because it may never be finished. I'll release Trap Land if the current gets a bit stale.

Announcement

Soon...

So I've got everything done but coding the bosses. Which is tougher than I hoped, I honestly haven’t been using RPG-maker lately, and I am sorry for announcing earlier that the new demo would be released by now, but I just haven't found time to work on this. I haven't given up though, I will finish it up. But for now, the old version will be unavailable until I get the demo released.

Progress Report

Progress.

Well, with my spare time I've been adding bits to the game here and there in an attempt to make it a palatable experience. What lies ahead for me is to come up with a couple more maps, a boss sprite, and get some decent 8-bit music. The biggest hurdle will be making a final boss that makes sense and fits well with the general game-play. I had a couple ideas like; dodge projectiles and hit switches to kill it or have it charge and then attack it while it's stunned. If ANYBODY has any good ideas, feel free to tell me because it would help out a-lot. Any feedback you guys give is greatly appreciated. I think it will be another while to get those few things completed, but when I do I'll release the finished demo.

Miscellaneous

The Demo is Up!

Now that the game has been accepted, the first version of the demo has been posted. Currently only three levels/rooms, but that should be enough to get a taste of what the game will be.
