I's say this is psychedelic, but not surrealist at all. I would really look for something else for a title screen.
I know I wanted a "swirl" effect in general. However, the previews I was seeing weren't really working for me. So I decided on this. Maybe it's ugly (that might be the point, by the way), and I especially like how the font isn't aligned at all.
However, that's just my two cents.

Watch out they're dicussing how surrealism should be understood, on the contest blog : surrealism does not equal weird!...(But don't worry about what they say about dreams, surrealism is very involved with dreams.)
Is this really so bad that somebody felt it necessary to post an alternate title screen? No offense to ShortStar was intended, but I'm beginning to question my artistic knowledge and tastes, here. As if the 100% RTP screenshots weren't proof enough that I had no taste, right?

Marrend... no I'm just that bored honestly. I've been swooping into RPG VX projects and redoing their maps for the heck of it. Life is very dull. Its been very dull since October. I slipped out of RPGing for a while, but now I'm back because its fresh to me again.

this is a good title screen i like it but i would but weird dreams together just in case someone has bad eyesight or something they wont be able to read it but good title screen
