There exists a most curious and powerful race in the world of Ospes, able to manipulate and alter matter itself.

Their numbers are few, and from the beginning they have lived as outcasts, perceived as a threat to the world and every living thing in it.

They are called Theolar.

Thymetians, the most dominant race on Ospes, have done all that they can to suppress the Theolar. For they, more than any, are afraid of them.

Most Theolar are content to live in hiding and have abandoned the use of their abilities in hopes they would be forgotten. But among them there is a small group, known as the
Andurim, who are unwilling to give up that part of themselves.

Their sole purpose is to provide the Thymetians and the rest of the world with a glimpse of their greatness, now long overshadowed by what else they are capable of…

What users from rpgmaker.net have said...

"I've finished the game, and I have to say that I really enjoyed myself. I don't always keep the games, but this one is a must.
Thanks for all your hard work." - littlebro

"All in all, you have certainly set a standard for vx games. I can't think of one that actually gripped me, and especially like this one did...
At any rate, I'm just saying I loved the game. I can tell it had a huge amount of work placed into it." - demonlord5000

What users from rpgmakervx.net have said...

"Whoa. This game is amazing. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a game, commercial or otherwise, this much. You've managed to create a world that pulls the player in,
makes him identify with teh characters and feel for them. A world that feels alive with lore and history. Every time I found one of the Nayrin relics...
I really felt I was discovering bits and pieces of an ancient civilization, scattered all over the world." - Jeffrey

If anyone wants to play arguably one of the best all around put-together RPGs available to RPG Maker VX, this is hereby on your must-do list.
- goldenguy

"I will say that I liked the message and it was a brilliant adventure while it lasted. The plot was tight, the characters convincing and the puzzles
were the best I've seen aside from Alundra. If you ever manifest another spectacular game, I'll be looking forward to it." - tom11

"Firstly you have a great imagination and a flair for writing, your game really drew me in and was a real "key-presser" right up until the final
scenes. Your game was also very well balanced in terms of available money, EXP, etc. The inclusion of your excellent (occasionally challenging)
puzzles and mini-games help to distract the player along the way. Also quite importantly the game runs practically bug free..." - matt-tribal

"Bloody fantastic RPG. Minigames, optional quests, math puzzles. Love it all." - vitrous

"...there's so much that can be done, and the story and adventure just keep taking new turns and twists...It's been a long time since I've played a
game that I have a hard time "setting down" after 2-3 hours, but this is doing that." - goldenguy

"...a brilliant game, you have clearly put a lot of thought into creating the world of Ospes and especially into its characters. I definitely
appreciate the humorous dialogue too." - matt-tribal

Canvas is Complete!

Five years and two children later, I have finished my second game. The download has been updated. The game should last around 15 hours or so depending on a few factors including puzzles and sidequests. I have included a full walkthrough and complete item guide with the download. If you need more detailed help than the walkthrough gives, please don't hesitate to ask. I love every kind of feedback, especially bug reports if you find any. Thank you very much to those who take the time to download Canvas and give it a shot.

Only seven of the buttons are visible. The eighth is hidden behind the lower wall. Run the iron ball along the bottom wall and you'll find it. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! There are two snowballs in the same vertical column. Push the lower one up, then left, down, and right. Before you push it right you will have to move some other snowballs to press the other switches. Good luck. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I like this game, but I have a bug to report.

Whenever I load the game and I attempt to move, the game crashes. It doesn't happen if I wait a few seconds however.

EDIT: It only happens when you press F12.

Thanks for playing Manifest. The f12 reset function doesn't get along with one or more of the scripts I use and gives a stack error. Glad to hear you're enjoying the game though. I'd love to hear back from you again as you progress. Feel free to ask any questions as well.
When do you start learning multi-target skills?

The Reaper and the boss of the Zarobia Woods had multi-target dark spells, while the Skeleton had a multi-target physical skill. I was wondering if you learned any multi-target before level 20 (no spoilers please).

Anyways, I really like how you did the combat system. Rather than making the combat "who can cause the most damage", you actually have strategy in your combat system with things like buffs, debuffs, tanking (I don't see this very often in JRPGs, so it was a nice touch), etc. The combat has also been pretty balanced so far as well. The dungeon design is also well done because there aren't many useless deadends, so it motivates me to explore the dungeon more.

The story is also superb. I love how you give the player motivation in the beginning because some stories take a while to get going. I also like how gave character development immediately. Some games just like introducing characters without any purpose or development until much later on.

The music choices are also good. So far, there haven't been any really amazing tracks, but the music is still good and most importantly it's fitting. The graphics are also good and consistent.

The game has been very enjoyable so far (sorry about the long post).

You will learn multi-target skills at some point. Thank you for the detailed feedback. I never mind long posts, especially when they are as flattering as yours =). Hope you continue to enjoy it.

1. there is a puzzle in mt. phoenix that i can't seem to solve. it has 5 red buttons, but only 2 rocks? the sign in the room says "make sure to put the boulders back where the rulwook can see them." not sure if that sign is a clue u_u

2. im stuck at another puzzle where i have to align 4 corners(kinda like pinball), but i cant seem to figure out the right position.

3. where is forgotten crpyt? i dont remember if i've been there or not since im doing some missed nayrin relic hunting.

Hi Smiley,
Some help in the spoiler box below...

1. That signpost is a clue. Two of the boulders weren't put back where they were supposed to be, but you can find them hidden in that room.

2. For the pinball puzzle, are you in the first room or the second. Once I know that, I can help you further.

3. The forgotten crypt is in the far left middle section of the world map.

Thanks for playing! Let me know if you need anything else.

My pleasure. Here is some help for #2

There are 4 switches that need to be hit with the shooting orb. If I remember correctly they range from needing 1 angle block to all 4 to hit them. I would go in order ending with the one that needs all the angle blocks in position. The thing you will need to be careful of, is that if you move an angle block up against a wall, you won't be able to get it off the wall, so only move one there in the end if you need it to hit the "4" switch.

Good luck. Please let me know if you still can't get it.
i can only manage to hit 3/4 ;_;

Later this evening I can make and post a series of screenshots if you'd like. It would be no trouble.

Here you go...

The angle blocks are only locked in place in the fourth screenshot. In the first three, you can get the blocks back to a place where you can move them anywhere.

Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask any other questions that come up. I'm happy to help.

That was quite a good game, specially at the end, I felt the ending was more than word, I think it was what you wanted to say and they were very beautiful .

Personally I played so many JRPG that another one with the same battle system make me tired so the minigame were very nice addition. Minigames was good both in design and time and difficulty.

The story was very good too. I enjoyed the game a lot so thanks for creating such a good game.

However you take your time to create so many difficulty setting I am sure It was not easy, but if you see it from a risk-reward view the difficulty didn't offer anything special. If I was to design it I would offer some very rare and powerful equipment and perma boost stats that could only dropped in legendary difficulty, not only it would create another type of gameplay but it also increase the replay value of the game.

Thank you very much for your kind words and for playing Manifest through to the end. I'm glad you liked the ending...that's my favorite part too. As far as the difficulty settings go, I used a script from Yanfly for that so it was barely any work on my part. The main reason I included it was for the easy setting that lowers the enemies' base stats. I wanted those new to the genre to make it through. I didn't expect many players to go beyond normal, and I think you're right about the rewards for hard+ not being that great.
What's the password at the end when I arrive at the other planet I can't get through the last door so I stopped playing pls give me the password.
