Welcome to ALTER LEGEND.
A tragic accident turns into a source of power. After a massive slaughter of an entire city, at the hands of an elusive titan, the survivors realize they can channel the spirits of the dead. The spirits take shape as monsters, as magic, and as chaos. Join Alek in a struggle to to find out why the great beast Igara, a once peaceful beast, would suddenly rampage, killing thousands.
Explore a massive world in a free roam system that still very much pushes a thick and juicy plot. Choose to sell old gear, or synthesize them into new powerful weapons. Explore dungeons, forests, castles, churches, temples and the depths of your own damn backpack as this game caters to those who like the grind and collect, just as much as it does to those who like to avoid that kind of thing and just soak in a beautiful immersion plot. Challenge yourself with quicktime combos that make skill a bigger factor then level, but still gain experience to multiply the power of that same skill your momma gave you! Not everything is as it seems in Alter Legends. Friends are foes, where foes are friends and the world is constantly changing to continuously bring new game play to the the table. We may have bit off more than we can chew, making this game, but by god were going to finish it, and give it to you for free.

Yes there are some minor graphical bugs here and there, but this game is about as polished as it's going to get (not including game breaking bugs.)
I made this game to practice and learn. It's served it's purpose but It's time for me to start clean with all that I have learned. I'm looking forward to bringing you completely polished and professional work in the future, however, when i started this game, I had no idea what I was doing, and the frame work I built it upon has become very very limiting to me. I hope you guys can enjoy it as it is, she is my first child :P Cheers guys.

I'm getting the same error after the shrine. The screen goes black and into windowed mode and says "RGSS2 Player has stopped working". I'm running Windows 7. I've tried reloading and get the same thing every time. I've actually seen this problem before with XP games on Windows 7....but never vx. Weird! For XP games generally you can add the games .exe file to your DEP whitelist under Advanced System Settings and then the error goes away. I have no idea if this information will help you fix the bug but I thought I'd let you know.

u have to be kedding me ! and i was the one who just got excited to find it telling me TO BE CONTINUED !!
so what r ur plans will it really continue or this is just it ? and if that's it then what happend to targoth and what will happen after that final scene gosh so many questions pleas answer as much as possible
anyway great game really enjoyed the drawings along the scenes i've always been looking for old school rpg which have that u made one of my dreams come true lol
and the music really enjoyed them right now i will go to bgm just to pick my favs to lesten to from time to time thanks again u r amazing games creator iam sure u will have a very big name in the future keep up the good work and thank u so much ..

Okay...I'm really excited that I figured out the error myself. I decided to take a look at the event log for my PC. I had 5 errors from the five attempts I made to play your game. I noticed that adobe elements organizer was on the faulting path module for each error. Since I don't use photoshop elements I uninstalled it from my machine and now the game works! I suggest anyone else who has this error check their event log. It may not be the same story as mine but it's worth a try.

Haha, I do plan on continuing the story on, but it wont be for a little while as I am working on a new game now that you will love too I'm sure. hehe , i actually don't remember exactly but the armor i think i got it from the man who make equepmnts for u in exchange for some items , the bracer i think that i whether got it from the man who u give something to him after u go to the cave and kill the both who want the helmet . whether that or i got it from a both who make sounds and offer peace or fight but fight u anyway , i don't remember exactly sorry :3

I am so aggravated! I saved with Vance and Arenna but somehow when I came back to the game and opened my save, I am in a totally different place with Alec and Garrett. I am only LV 3 and the Golems kill me quickly and there seems to be no way to win this fight and continue.
I want to play this game but not to start all over again...partly because of the words running off screen and becoming irritating to try and read it. Also the screen where you make all your choices is rather jumbled and blends together to the eye. The chain effect is really difficult and I am not exactly sure when to strike for a chain effect. No doubt its a learned skill as you do it more often.
Anyway it was a good game up til now! I found the bread loop Dodo was talking about and was waiting ro find the milk and especially the Tears mentioned!

The download size is too big, I'm having trouble downloading the whole thing.
Can't help you there, the file is the size that it is. maybe download it some where with faster internet, throw it on a usb and then bring it to your computer at home! :)

I havn't heard of anyone else having a problem saving. please check to make sure you have not saved in a different slot or something silly like that. otherwise im really sorry that happened :( as for the text running off the screen, that actually doesnt happen if you install the font supplied in the game folder. please go into your alter legend folder, go into fonts, then right click on the font and say install. that will make everything fit properly, you computer doesnt have the font installed and is trying to improvise, thats why everything looks wrong.
