Quick Update to Wedge

Wedge's secondary Command Ability, called Charge, has had an update. Previously, it allowed to fully restore his own MP, with a small chance to backfire and drain his MP instead. There was really no point to this ability, since Wedge has the highest Max MP of all party members and would rarely be in a situation where he needed to restore MP in an emergency.
Now, Charge affects all allies, and restores MP equal to 20% of Wedge's Max MP, without a failure chance. Think of it like Vicks' Blessing, but for MP. It gives Wedge the opportunity to have some sort of a supporting role for other party members, which is something I've been working on adding for other characters in different ways over the past few months. For example, players can use Wedge as an "MP battery" while they unleash Aeon summons with higher MP costs, battle after battle.
Just one other small update to note: since magic damage was fixed, Wedge has had his initial Magic Power and Max MP lowered significantly, but he still ends up having high stats in those areas at later levels.

Blessing and Charge makes Vicks and Wedge quite the useful duo.

Actually, I had a thought. Is MP still capped at 999 or did it increase after the limiters were removed (to 9999)? I imagine towards the very late game, +2000 MP to every party member every turn could be pretty crazy since MP costs for spells and abilities are static.

If Vicks, Wedge, Dajh, and Lyra are in the battle party and all are equipped with certain Paradigms...
- You get a Vicks with a passive Protect and Refresh status that cannot be removed.
- You get a Wedge with a passive Bubble and Faith status that cannot be removed.
- You get a Lyra with a passive Regen and Bravery status that cannot be removed.
- You get a Dajh with a passive Haste and Shell status that cannot be removed.
So yeah, useful quartet!

Crazy combo. Its music to my ears.
+200 MP regen per turn sounds pretty damn great.
The drawback is that there isn't a way for the other characters to restore MP (besides Vicks with Refresh and Lyra with her Absorb spell) without the use of items, and you'll be spending a ton of MP with that party.
But yeah, it's a powerful team against enemies vulnerable to magical attacks.

Hmmmm... aren't Vicks and Wedge sister and brother? Their secondary ability seem to be alike.
Twins, in fact. But Vicks' secondary Command Ability (Gained via the Miracle Cure paradigm) cures all negative status conditions. Blessing is her default Command Ability.
JUST A QUICK UPDATE: A script released by the wonderfully talented Vlue just today that allows for animated status/item icons has been added to the game, so I'll be working on some animations for the icons tonight. It should help players get a better idea of what each status actually does to them, in some cases.
