Can't wait to play it. From the reviews you've been getting I'd say it'll
Be worth checking into. By the by, it seems you've been at this a while
so I was wondering have you ever lost vision on your path. I ask
This because of a project Im planning on with rm2k3.

There have been multiple times when I just stop working on the project... but I always come back to it =)

Aye, delicious pixelated animation!

Minor question, are there capsule monsters as in Ruins of Lore?

Because of the limitations, there will not be capsule monsters in the party... however... they may make an appearance in some other way. ;)

Is this game on hiatus again

I'm still here, just have a lot of stuff in life going on. Game is still being worked on - its still going to be quite awhile until its done though unfortunately :C
i just play this game and my reaction is wow, this really is Lufia V,i am not familiar with rpg maker engine but after playing this game i think i need to learn this because i really want to help you making it,maybe like addding charm to this game(like placing treasures at people home and such)

i once tried make an rpg game using game maker and its really need a lot of work and time to do it,i assuming rpg maker is also the same and after played the demo,i really think you had done an amazing job in this game,Keep it up!!

How bout now any closer

Not really - follow the Lufia V facebook page for more info.
I know how hard it can be to do a game alone.
Not personally but I know there are people struggling.
Still, looking forward to this so I hope you will find the time :D
I think Dekar is mostly giving updates on FaceBook now.
It’s funny u can trace my post back to 2012 I make one once a year lol
I am unaffiliated to that guy, but I thought I'd let people know anyway, that the Project is still being worked on, apperantly the final town is just about to be finished.

But I also want to adress that in a comment section 2 days in the past, the Creator stated that the actual final game will probably take another 2 to 3 years to finish (apperantly the last town, much like in the original game, is merely a "last checkpoint" affair)

Also it was stated that the creator plans of releasing the "half-way demo" as he puts it up soon.
congrats dekar!

really enjoying your game, the story and dungeons have been excellent so far, and it certainly feels like a lufia sequel

i am a little past getting the light spell
Has it been 10 years already I remember living in Kalamazoo Michigan hearing u talk about starting this game
