Which Death Egg music are you referring to? If it's the one from Sonic 2, then I kind of agree. If it's the one from Sonic 3, then you must be tied to a stake and burned for his heresy.

The former, definitely. Death Egg from Sonic 3 kicked ass.

I actually I liked the Death Egg music in Sonic 2. It gets a haunting melody (that I personally like) after a while, but it takes so long to build up and the level is so short, I doubt most people would here it.

I've listened to the full track before, but I just don't care for it. Haunting and Sonic don't fit together well for me.

I remember when I first saw the name for this level I instantly thought of Sonic only to be pleasantly surprised.

This was a pretty good level.
