This game is a very short RPG, with around 1 hour of playing time. It tells the story of Shane, a young bounty hunter that needs to help some people. He lives in a small town called Ghanola, safe from the monsters of the outside world.

His co-partner is a robot, invented by Bernard. (He is the leader of the bounty hunter guild.) She is not very talkative, but she lets her sword do the talking.
Their adventure begins as their 1st mission is to retrieve the Golden Necklace.

The battle system is Tankentai side-view style with some custom animations. This game was made in wait of Sacred Mana progression. Hope you like it.

I think the maps are looking pretty good except for the two mines. Are there any things you can add to give the floors detail? Anything you can add to the description? Maybe character bios?

In the beginning, it says the mine is to the east. But it's to the west. ;)

You're welcome! Also, when I went to talk to Bernard after beating the first boss, he got stuck in a loop telling me where the guy with the boat is.

Yea, It seems I had the conditional branch set to paralel proces, small mistake.
I have fixed it in the new uploaded version.

Well, the summary does say "short". Problem is it does not say "how short" :)

I beat the monster in the first cave and got the necklace.
Went back to town and was told to speak with captain of boat at
Shinrin Harbor.

We left the dock......and that was it :) the ship could not leave that screen :(

Was that the end of the game ?????

Liked finished game with 40 minutes.

I also liked it but NPC said there was another quest and to
see the Capt. at the dock.
Also, if you look at the map there appears to be another cave in
the lower left corner.

I thought if we got into a boat and were able to move out into the
water that there was more to the game.......

Guess not :(

Short RPG. Extremely minimalistic. Not much going on in terms of story or strategy. Everyone speaks in simple sentences and strategy is basically attack, or use techs on bosses. I'd say this is an ideal 'first RPG' for starters.

When I make a first RPG, I think I'll go by this game's size: 2 dongeons 1 town
