A necessary evil... Well, not really.

Expect some interesting news in the near future.

After much deliberation and information gathering, I've decided to give all of the games dialog a good combing over. Not only to fix the text speed and to remove the pauses, but to apply everything I've learned in the course of making the rest of the game. Not only that, but my brother has agreed to draw custom portraits for all of the major characters, so expect to see more art in the style you saw during the semi-animated cutscene that's in the current introduction to Phantom Legacy.

Side NoteAvatar to the left will not be used as a portrait, so no; we're not cutting corners here.

Dude, your brother's good. And by good I mean GREAT, so I wholeheartedly support that decision.

Good luck with the dialogue changes.

Hmm, I don't remember any animated cutscene. Could you put up a screenshot?
He's talking about the intro with the hooded man (the one in NB's avatar) talking and a scrolling mountain background.

It wasn't animated per se, though the image of the hooded man moves around on the screen.
