Terminology

-Magic-
Magic is mostly associated with fire and healing spells, being able to damage landscapes
and life. The origin of magic is still unknown, most people believe it is created by "tapping"
into powerful anomalies known as "rifts". It is said that the more magic is used, the weaker
these "rifts" become allowing more monsters to enter through these rifts.

-Rift Flashes-
Rift flashes are powerful abilities taught to some wielders of magic. It is a magic spell that
has immense power and even has the ability to summon powerful monsters capeable of destroying
anything in its path. These spells are incredibally dangerous though as casting one of these
spells causes major damage to rifts.

-Wisps-
Creatures comprised of magical energy. It is said that when wanderers are lost, these flames
of light will appear and guide them to their desired destination.

-Anima-
A Cult against magic. They believe that magic should be emptied from the world and are destroying
all schools of magic. They use powerful technicues to summon all types of demons and monsters to
fight for their principles. They mostly do research on the study of Magia Veltore

-Magia Veltore-
The name given to the unique flow of magic in Corterre. Due to the ammount of Rift damage, magic flows
differently and the elementals differ from other regions'.


-The Elements-
In Corterre all magic is split into four elements namely:
•Vatra consisting of Fire, Light and Thunder
•Priroda consisting of Life(Control over animals), Earth and Air
•Sistina consisting of Healing, Illusion and Spirits
•Tamadus consisting of Dark, Cold and Pshycic

Weaknesses of the elements are subjective, changing frequently due to the strange flow of magic.
