My self-indulgent mess of a first game, starring an entire cast of dogs!!
Made with RM2k3 with the goal of being the happiest, least scary game ever made on that engine. Vibe-wise, I was going for a mush between The World Ends With You, Chibi-Robo, and Nintendogs. It is cute, bright, and obnoxious.
The game can be beaten once in about an hour.
Featuring:
-2 endings!
-Over 20 dog breeds!
-dum shibe
-100 billion lines of dialogue
-About 2000 references to obscure video games that only I will understand
-My tears

look around you before you put on your 'um uh it's not me it's you' desperation game brother
(hint: it's a paradigm wherein other people's success is viewed by other members of the bucket as something that they deserved more, or could have made better use of, or so on and et cetera. this leads people to grow jealous and spiteful in cases where other people's accomplishments surpass their own, even if the object of their mania isn't really at fault! so yeah, making a whiny, pointless post about how this game's high number of downloads causes you some great personal pain (despite not even being that bad, c'mon) is crab philosophy in its purest form and you oughta do some soul-searching before the greed gets ya completely.)
(who even cares if you think this got more downloads than it should have? attention is not some kind of zero-sum game. focus instead on making something that you feel merits this kind of attention itself -- because from what I can see you got a ways to go. 'the log in your eye' and all that. dig?)

Can you really say this is that popular? It's known by us, a few social networking sites, and a couple of LPers whose main audience are the gamers that follow these sort of underground things. It's not like this is getting a spotlight on IGN or something...

Uh this is my first time downloading a game, dont hate, but when i downloaded Pom gets wifi, its a winrar folder. I dont know how to start the actual game. Can someone please forgive my stupidness and tell me how? Thanks a bunch!
To unpack a .rar file you need either WinRAR or 7zip. After installing one of this, then it is just a matter of right-clicking on the rar file and Extract to here. Then go to the folder and run RPG_RT.exe

This game, and it's near-constant buzz rating, just reminds me of when people thought it was annoying when Heartache 101 - Sour Into Sweet took over the front page for weeks (months?) on end.

heartache 101 is a super-derivative anime dating sim crowdsourcing its content from weird gross nerds, by all means be irritated with it
