My self-indulgent mess of a first game, starring an entire cast of dogs!!
Made with RM2k3 with the goal of being the happiest, least scary game ever made on that engine. Vibe-wise, I was going for a mush between The World Ends With You, Chibi-Robo, and Nintendogs. It is cute, bright, and obnoxious.
The game can be beaten once in about an hour.

-2 endings!
-Over 20 dog breeds!

-100 billion lines of dialogue
-About 2000 references to obscure video games that only I will understand

I saw it on Pewd's channel and I absolutely loved it , so I downloaded it . When I opened it all the letters where bold and I couldn't read anything . Also when I opened the game same thing happened . I really want to see the dialogue . ;____;

There seems to be mixed opinions about this game. I did actually like it for what it was, a quirky entertaining way to spend an hour. The art style is different and nice to look at, but I was left a little disappointed.
With the number of people who have downloaded this game I was expecting it to be great and something I would have loved. But there isn't much of a game here, a little bit of a story, and probably not quite deserving some of the praise it has received. With that said, I still enjoy it for what it is.

Wow, this game suddenly dropped FAST from the buzzing games after dominating it for so long. What happened there?
Whenever I click the download button it says "limit for game download reached. Try again in _ minutes and _ seconds." I wait the set time and click again and it says the same thing with a different number. How do I download this game?

The rate of decay of buzz is geometric, IIRC. Big bizz requires a consistent level of continuous buzz to maintain it.

And yet you're helping it come back on the buzzing game list by commenting on it. In fact I think a lot of the reason why this game is buzzing quite often is because you have generated a lot of discussion about it by offering critique and inspiring others to reply to you. You gave Pom a review which had 16 comments discussing the game, qualifying it as a buzzing review. So consider yourself a part of the help in making Pom as popular as it is today, Corfaisus. :)
For such a short game, I really liked it. The ending kind of disappointed me, not as in quality but as in Pom herself (Pretty sure Pom was a girl). She's just one of those people that can't be saved (even in doggy heaven). I'm glad I tried it out.

You have to open the "RPG_RT.exe" file, since this is a RPG Maker 2003 game.
I downloaded RPG maker 2003 yet I can't make custom sprites! Could you help me? I looked at a bunch of tutorials, but they have premade sprites. I would like to make my own charset.
Me-Patra, I was enjoying the game last night, I was almost finished with the game, (both endings) but today, it has been REALLY slow. I'm using a mini touch screen windows 8 laptop. Can you make a faster version? Please?
author=princesslaurenYou go to your downloads, click "Pom Gets Wi-Fi v1-04", click the Pom Gets Wi-Fi v1-04 file folder, scroll down until you see "RPG_RT", click on it, and it may want you to extract files so do that, and click "RPG_RT" with the sword icon, and for controls, click the "READ ME" text document. ;)

author=FireflyoflightDo you mean, you got the bad ending? The bad ending is to take pics of Crest, and beat up York. The good ending is don't take any pics of Crest at all, and give York a root beer float to get the "Corg-Keys" (The pun is REALLY bad.)

author=ArupakaOtakuThis is the wrong place to ask for such help. Frankly, I highly recommend you start by learning to edit pre-existing sprites first. That will give you knowledge about colour usage, shading, sizing and the like. From there check out some youtube videos which should show you step by step and be easier to understand.
