Marco Strago, leader of the Xenan, an elite group of warriors, was relieved of his post, thanks to his disobeying a direct order from King Cletus, order was to collect the 5 runes of the Creator Goddesses. These runes possess enough power to allow one man to rule the world. But for some reason Marco decided not to follow this order and as a result was sent on mission to take care of the Mad Ogre, and his friend, a loyal knight to the Crown, Jared, decides to accompany his friend. But is a more insidious plot unfolding...?

CloseThanks. I could really use the suggestions and critique. So that I can know how to make it better. Also, how might I add detail to my map? Some suggestions please!?
Maybe some more flowers, grass things like that. It's kinda hard making detailed maps in VX with it's RTP because it's so squarish. But this is your first game I presume so just have fun with it. Finish this game then try going all out for the next one.

When will you stop asking that for EVERY GAME? You're one of the reasons the "Games Released in 2010" topic hasn't been updated regularly!

Advice: So about this story, are these creator goddesses alive? What are they doing in this story? Some advice, if you hit a plot hole or roadblock don't suddenly go "Awesome, the goddesses can now randomly appear to undo it!". That is one huge pitfall stories with goddesses sometimes have.
Why did Marco not decide to follow the order? He should have a reason. If something bad is about to unfold, then perhaps hint at it in your cut-scenes? Maybe foreshadow it a little to create more suspense. Could add more depth to the beginning of your story.
