Hey there! I hope you're doing well.
So after getting lots of VERY informative critique, I decided to, one last time, go into the Childhood Arc and edit/fix some things. I had originally intended to leave behind the Childhood Arc and focus solely on the Adult Arc. But as time went by, I realize that there are some problems that begin in the Childhood Arc that, if left unchecked, will cause problems in the Adult Arc. I wanted to create a really challenging game, but I did not want the challenge to be unfair. But as critique comes in, I realize that some changes need to be made to make the battle have more of a flow to them. Here is a list of things that will be changed:

- Arya's Superguard now blocks ALL sorts of damage. This was supposed to happen originally. Sorry about that!
- Extra help given on Casual mode and more tutorials given on Survivor mode. I want the player to actually know how to play the game, and Survivor Mode doesn't explain ALL the controls of the game. That is now fixed.
- 2nd location of Wide Plank changed. If you missed the plank and fall down the hold in the Ruins, your only choice is to restart the game to get it. Now you'll have a chance to pick it up.
- Guarding will now restore 30% of a character's maximum stamina instead of just one measly point. This is the biggest reason I went back into the Childhood Arc to fix things. As you level up, you'll have lots of stamina to work with, and restoring 1 point every time you guard will become game-breakingly bad. This change will fix that problem, but still not make the game too easy.
- All enemies now have new and different abilities. I won't be too specific, but trust me, it'll make battles have more of a flow to them.
- Arya also has slightly more HP. SLIGHTLY. Hopefully this will give the player just a LITTLE more room for error as they're trying to figure things out. No other stat has changed, though.
- The button to skip through conversations and the button to dash is the same. To prevent you from accidentally skipping text you don't want to miss, the key to skip text has been changed.


I just want to reiterate: These changes will NOT make the game easier! I still want you to be scared, tense, and slightly rage-tastic. However, I don't want the game to feel unfair. I want your deaths to feel justified. And hopefully these changes will make the game more FAIR. Not easy. Fair.

The new version will be out either tomorrow or the next day. Once I get the last of the critique, I will be releasing the final edition of the Childhood Arc. I just wanted to make you guys aware that this thing was going to happen. From now on, if there are any changes that need to be made in the Childhood Arc, it will be side patches that will be released when segments of the Adult Arc are released.

As a side bonus, since I've been working on the Adult Arc, you will have a sneak peak of that. Just be aware that I'm not calling it ready for playing. But if you REEEEEALLY want to... well, it's there.
