Announcement

Home 1.2.0 finally released

This update is a lot bigger than I expected. We have additional cutscenes, use of pictures for cutscenes, new music, new monster sprites, new additions to the courtroom, the pure zones are much more interesting to explore, and a drastically different "HOME" Ending. Have fun. this should be the final major update for HOME.

Announcement

HOME 1.2.0 to be released soon.

Will be fixing a bunch of minor and rather silly bugs within the game.
Adding in new sprites for a plethora of enemies.
New music across the zones.
New pictures similar to the zone 0 basement scene.
A picture cutscene for each time a cat joins the party. Will be interesting to see the final product myself.

Changes to a bunch of the later game cat skills,
and new skills for a few enemies.

Announcement

Home bugfix released. 1.1.0

Just some bugs that prevented solid gameplay during hardmode puzzles. If you had a bug that prevented progress, download this version and copy your "save.lsd" from your old folder to the new one to continue progress.

Announcement

Whelp. I'm dumb.

Forgot to update the light maze for hardmode in zone 1 and the light never actually fires. It just sits there. Updating the download as we speak, but the MAC download will be bugged as a result. It's updated now, and you should be able to play properly on hard puzzle mode.

Announcement

Home version 1.1.0 is out.

It is not recommended to play this version from an existing save. This version is meant to improve upon first time players by giving them more options over the difficulty of the puzzles and combat. The max level will also be raised from 30 to 40. If you desire to download this version and continue your file, you might see yourself grinding monsters for a bit to catch up to the enemies you're facing. Overall difficulty of the game has increased by a slight margin, but not too hard. If you were playing on AUTO before this update, its recommended you start a new file if you were to download this version. From there, start a new game and choose combat difficulty easy. As of now, most of the bosses have been buffed to be much more difficult to simply let auto do the work.

Overall, I would say this update is optional. It does not add new scenes, or content to already existing files. As previous stated, it's main goal is to improve the quality of future first downloads and newcomers.

Announcement

Version 1.0.1 out

Minor bug fixes and typo fixes.
Nothing big that requires a second download, just a lovetap to improve future downloads.

Announcement

"RTP not presented bug"

Anyone having the “RTP not presented” error that prevents HOME from running. Simply download HOME again. It was me making a slight mistake on a battle animation that resorted to the use of RTP. I have since fixed that bug, and simply downloading HOME will fix said bug.

Announcement

1.0.0 is here.

As of today, HOME is officially released.

So... A bunch of dumb stuff happened.

I got sick, nearly threw up and passed out last night. we had to drive around town to a job interview and they didn't even see us and that was depressing. Our bunny actually managed to eat one of the credit panels that was being made for the credits. It sounds hilarious and awful at the same time I know, but my girlfriend has to draw a new one from scratch so I'm delaying the game until later today because she really wants to be able to add this drawing to the credits and it gives me a tiny bit more time to make some final adjustments to the game.

Announcement

HOME 1.0.0 will be released later tonight.

Going to iron out some recently found bugs, finish up the credits and upload the game. Have fun playing, my friends.
