Not exactly. More like a comic book style, with scenes breaking up into panels. I won't be showing all the panels at once, but rather one at a time. In this instance, it's broken into two panels.
I tested it here, doesn't look bad. The problem is not about the color reduction, but the size of the picture. It's going to look a bit pixeled in 320x240, but the colors look fine.

Allows space for a bit of simplicity... Something necessary for you to complete the game, after all there must be many cutscenes...
Guess I know what game I'll be playing the instant its all up to date and complete. :D

It is indeed, but not in the same high definition as this one. There are quite a few now; boobledeeboo has done a wonderful job.
