Guide Me, a short RPG game made with the engine RPG Maker VX Ace, is a unexplained story revolving around a girl called Era. The mission in the game is to leave the place, or as it is put, to 'guide' Era out. In order to do so, Era or the player has to collect the 3 secrets scattered throughout the place. While in the journey of getting out, Era faces different types of thrilling dangers.
Guide Me is my first RPG Maker VX Ace game I have completed. Take note that the back story is not put right in front of you. You have to search carefully for hints and notes to be able to dig out the story. With your own theorizing skills, you can preference your own thoughts about it. Anyways, with the help of many scripts, a beta tester and tilesets I was able to manage to create my game! Please report to me if you find anything unusual (like bugs). Make sure to save continuously. I hope you guys enjoy, happy gaming!
- Custom and original artwork.
- A big amount of jump-scares.
- Multiple endings.
- 10-30 minutes of gameplay.
- Hints to the real plot that will only be found if you look carefully.

So its been 2 years since I last touched Guide Me
Guide Me was published around 2014, and since I felt it was incomplete and had some bugs, I decided to take it down and revamp it. However, I'm a lazy ass with a stressful life, and only currently I got motivated to start back on from where I started. Guide Me will now be made new, using the process I've already done 2 years ago and adding upon it to make the best possible game I can create.
THE NEW VERSION OF GUIDE ME FEATURES:
- New artworks and text system!
- All bugs and annoying gameplay (instant death) deleted.
- More multiple endings, as well as two routes the player can decide. ( The amount of endings is 4+ ! )
- More backstory and cutscenes expressing the hidden story
- A larger mystery with more clues
- A cat! Before there was only a dog which determined your ending, but now a cat may determine a different ending too.

Ah , strange, only seems to happen when I try recording it with Dxtory! I was hoping to do a lets play! Oh well... At least I can play the game now!

You can record with Bandicam (its free) if you want to LP. I started doing it a while back but didn't finish.

Hey, pretty good game! :D I wish it was longer, though, I was really caught up and thought more of the story would be revealed D: So far I've gotten 2 endings, are they all, or did I miss one?

I wanted to point out some things, too.
Little Boy:
There's a kind of bug when you have to go lake by lake drinking the water to escape the little boy ghost. The squares where he disappears the first time and the one where he disappears the second time appear to have like invisible blocks on them and you can't walk through. 
This used to happen to me when I *tried* to make RPG games. It's something to do with the switches, I believe, I'm not sure, I haven't really figured out how to undo that xD
Also you can drink the water before the timer has started, which makes the puzzle be already solved by the time the timer starts.

Damn teddy bears blocking the path :c If you make them walk randomly, then at least make the corridors 2 blocks in width so they don't leave you trapped xD And another thing was that when you have to beat her to the exit, she freezes in place when she gets to the end. So it's inevitable to win, unless you touch her. The first time I played that part, I forgot what path I had to take, so I almost went and did a whole tour of the place before remembering the correct one. It would be better if you were to be trapped down there if she were to win, so if you get the path wrong and end up taking too long, she wins. Otherwise it's too darn easy D:

Is he supposed to randomly kill you while you explore? lol. And I don't quite get the point of the chase at the end since he doesn't give you a secret to pick up, you just have it when you get out.
