Story
Leon, the main character, is trapped in a school-like building with three other people. They are forced to take part in challenges to open the escape route. However, things aren't as simple as that.

There are numbers written on their napes. The players can only see the others' numbers. They have to find out what their own number is in order to go through the exit door. If someone tells another person their number, the first person will die. There's only one chance to activate the lock at the exit door. It will be de-activated after that and will never be used again.

So... what is your number?

Game Features
* Original arts (except the mapping).
* 3 endings.
* Mini puzzle game.

Update
* Dec 11th '15:
- Reduce lag in the 2nd Room/2nd Floor.
- Change cursor graphic in the Light Puzzle.

Notes
** Before running the game, you must download the RTP. It can be found here.
** Please report if you find any bugs, thank you! We are no longer working on this version of blindXpot as we are trying to remake it, we are terribly sorry, and thank you for understanding.
** We are looking for musicians for future cooperation, also for "blindXpot" if anyone is interested.
** DevBlog? Actually I just throw whatever I like into it.

My new game's demo is ready for download

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since blindXpot's release. It's kinda funny that blindXpot's first blog post ever is about another game. Ironic, huh?

Since blindXpot, I'm still trying to pursue my dream to make story-driven and puzzle games. A lot of things have changed. I'm no longer working with chippok now (but we might work with each other again if my new game is a success; please be, because she is an amazing teammate to me). I miss Ellie too, she is the most dedicated proofreader that I have known so far. It's been 3 years since then.

With my new/current team, we are working on a new game project, which is quite in the same category with blindXpot. I have switched to using Unity, and the experience has been awesome so far (Although it really is harder to use than RPG Maker VX Ace, it's more interesting since it gives me more rooms to customize the game in my own way). If possible, I would love to remake blindXpot using Unity and polish the story.

I guess it's enough with the rambling. I hope to continue receiving support from you, who have had an interest in blindXpot, in our new game: Through the Window of Bizarre Ecstasy (abbr. TWBE). The Demo has just been released a few days ago.

Here is its newest trailer:

With a different setting from blindXpot, TWBE is set in a world revolving androids who wish to learn more about human beings, humans who wish to further their understanding of the world through researching androids, as well as forces that aim to take advantage of the technology.

Thank you very much! And have a nice day!

Thank you! ^_^
Nice Game. I am surely going to wait for it to finish. I can't wait to play it.
The characters were awesome. Well it is kind of hard to create a horror game using Rpg Maker.

Thank you! Haha, actually it's not a horror game, it's just a small puzzle game with a mystery story.

If you want to make a horror game using RPG Maker, I think it's not that hard. You just need to use google... a lot. Good games were made using this engine, and there is a big community for it, so seeking the knowledge on using this engine is not really impossible.
Besides, there are a lot of amazing scripts to improve the game performance and user interface and so on :D

My game is not that good but I've learned and seen a lot of amazing technical things coming out from this engine and the RPG Maker Community, truly!

The rpg horror fans tend to think that anything that doesn't have battles is horror. For example, I've seen Alice Mare being called a horror game MANY times despite not being so.

Hmm, I see. It's not really a big deal though. I think I made it clear about the genre on the profile. If someone still considers this game a horror game, then just let it be.
This is pretty bad, but... I am stuck on the very first puizzle. The one with the chessboard. Would you mind helping me out here? :D

It's nonogram, a well-known puzzle. Try a little more and you may think it's interesting :-D I like it because it can be used to make a drawing!
I have searched for some sources which can help you to understand more about this puzzle. Hope this help!

Also, you don't have to write an x inside a square. It just helps you to spot the red area more easily. Use it to mark the squares that you think they are the empty ones.

I sent you an e-mail! :-D

I will write a walkthrough later, I'm sorry I haven't thought about it until now. But I have to go to sleep first so that I can make a more detailed walkthrough, so please wait T_T
I managed to get the Nonary puzzle solved but it is a pretty tough task if you're going into it not knowing the game beforehand (which was the case for me). So far I am liking the puzzles, however, so I'll keep going :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention that there is a bug if you press the X (on the right side under reset) without completing the Nonogram puzzle, it turns your character into the cursor and the screen gets too dark to solve the puzzle.

Thank you! And hey, it's Nonogram, not Nonary game. Are you a fan of Zero Escape series!?

And thanks for pointing out the bug! I made a mistake with a newly-changed variable. I have fixed the download link.

Beta testers!? No, this game needs a goddamn exorcist!

I have absolutely no idea why this isn't correct so either I'm a complete derpfool or it's bugged.

Got the green one no problem. Tried the blue one with and without X's and still no good.

I'm sorry this is not the correct answer. You make it right for squares on the same rows but not with ones on the same columns.

I posted the puzzle elsewhere and got 8 replies. 7 people couldn't see anything wrong about this solution. One person knew of nonograms already.

They explained that the order of the blocks matters. So just to be sure I restarted my game and rushed to the first nonogram puzzle to re-read your instructions. I copy/pasted screenshots of the instructions for people and 4, (myself makes 5) didn't interpret them the way you meant. The part about "needing to be filled in from left to right", I took as a mandatory order. Like if you filled the puzzle in reverse the game wouldn't detect that as a correct response due to how it was evented. It sounded more like an RM cautionary thing than a nongram cautionary thing.

The person who knew nonograms explained that the tiles do indeed need to be filled in in the order the guide numbers are presented. Yeesh. I slaved over this thing for all this time due to shoddy rules. Ugh.

I'm starting to feel guilty about letting the little girl consider it easy after her poor explanation, which was indeed made by me.

Yes, there might be more than one way to fill the blocks if you only consider the numbers on the left, which indicate for grouping on same rows. That's why there are numbers above the puzzle to make the answer unique. I played it again myself to make sure it unique and the players can pass easily using the normal method of solving Nonogram.

In the poor instruction, she said the black square must be filled in order from left to right, and the same goes with columns, from top to bottom, or in short, the order matters. She also said that this is Nonogram, which is a famous puzzle, so you can find the online instruction easily.

I'm going to fix the instruction and ban her from saying that it was easy :-p Sorry for making it not clear enough.

Of course I won't recommend you to look at everything inside it, haha.
