Official Facebook page!

I've now created an official facebook page for the development and updates of Clock of Survival!

While I will still be doing updates on this page, I will be doing updates over on the facebook page as I find it easier to manage in terms of updates. Small updates will be done on the facebook page while weekly updates will be done on here.

Demo Weekly update - [Game Progress]

Back again with the weekly update!

I've recently finished the train station that is going to be included in the demo. It's not big and you can only really access one platform and I have no clue whether or not i'm going to build more onto it.

Here's a picture of the completed map!



I've been work more on coding for the game so the mapping has been a little slow right this minute. Scripting as also been slow due to work relating to real life but it's getting there and should be finished by the end of this month.

Speaking of the end of this month, I've signed up for the Halloween horror which is on this month, buuut i'm kinda having second thoughts due to me trying to get COS finished by the end of this year. I've never finished a game for people to play in any sort of way due to laziness or being busy.

However, if I'm able to finish that game, it will show me that I'm able to create a game on rpgmaker that is playable. It may not be as good as some other of the demo games that will be released, but it will be something and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Demon Weekly update - [Not much unfortunately]

Due to certain circumstances, I haven't really been doing anything related to the game development. I still however have been working on the demo story, so at least it is something rather than nothing.

Sorry this isn't really much of an update but I'd just thought I'd pop in to update the page to let you all know how the demo is currently developing

Demo Weekly update - [Dungeon progress + Story progress]

And here we are with the weekly updates

Since last week, there has been some changes to the game's planned demo dungeon. I'm not planning to do a sort of ruined place for the first area you go to as Yuuta, I've also edited how long the demo is gonna be, however, I'm gonna leave it for you guys to find out about it once the demo comes out.

If any of you have played persona 3 or 4 you should be able to understand what it is I'm referencing in this

While it is insignificant, I thought as well to add it because it makes the game more visually appealing and it's an interesting way to view the time and day in game

This little graphical thing will show the day and time during the game. It even has a symbol signifying if it's day time or night time in game.

but unfortunately I can't add too much as I have a limited amount of space and still will need space for the character pictures when they pop up in game. I also don't want to clutter up the screen too much.

I'm going to continue to finish up the maps this month assuming nothing happens to anything. It's all I can really work on at the moment apart from program testing.

Demo Weekly update - [Dungeon Progress + Sprite Progress]

And here we are with the weekly update




DUNGEON UPDATE!

I've been mostly working on the Demo dungeon maps in Clock of survival since I've barely even started on anything related to it. Most of the dreamworld maps are incomplete and unscripted but once I finish the maps, the rest will be easy to finish.

This isn't of course what the final map will look like in the demo as I will be adding lighting and special effects to the surrounding area to make it look nicer and have a bit more depth to it. I hope I am eventually able to make it look as nice as the maps in games like Ill will and Star stealing prince.

Also another update!

My Sprite artist gave me permission to put up and example of the sprites they're currently making for Clock of Survival

Still a wip but it's an idea of what they will look like

Demo deadline is set to be at the end of the year

Figured it's best to have one now right?

Now all of this is assuming that I can get the needed sprites for the game, because that's the huge thing that I need for this game to work. But if I do get the sprites then I will be able to complete the demo.

I've been working mostly on maps for the game and revising the story for the demo, once I finished all the needed maps for the demo then I will start working on the art and the programming for the game.

I'm going to start doing weekly updates on the game so it gets me motivated to churn stuff out and make things. I've been working on this game for a long time and I will not let this become a forgotten project I was too lazy to ever finish

After so long....

IT'S WORKING, The damn thing was submitted after I resubmitted the profile, something weird was going on but now it's been accepted and properly viewable! (Have no clue why it wasn't working before and I'm not pointing any fingers)

Since COS finally has a proper info page to look at, I can now put in the demo when it's finally complete, whenever it maybe possible, I'm still working on it fully so it's going to be a while

But anyway, here's to a possible demo sometime in the near future!
