Part-timer Mom by Day... Dreamwalker By Night
Overview:
Derpy's the kind of mom that has to work all kinds of jobs around town to make end's meet; she's usually the first one up and the last one to bed. Ask around town and they'll say she's a trooper- an easy breeze that'll brighten up your day.
She's also the kind of mom that accidentally burns dinner during soup night. Ask around town again and they'll say she's a real twister- leaves nothing unscathed in her wake.
Ask again and it seems like there's something weird going on around town; something that's making everyone lose precious hours of sleep. And it looks like no one but Derpy can do anything about it.
Looks like the midnight shift just opened up...
Gameplay:
Day Dreaming Derpy is a Paper Mario-inspired JRPG with an emphasis on the exploration of the Dream World and the interaction between Derpy and the residents of the Real World. While asleep, Derpy can use her abilities gained from her many part-time jobs to combat the nightmares that plague the dreams she explores along with the help of many unique, quirky characters. While awake, Derpy can prepare for her night-time ventures by working all around town to buy items and unlock new abilities she can use in the Dream World.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from programming and making games, it’s that shared resources available to the community are, essentially invaluable to both those who wish to improve upon projects and those beginning to learn the craft. I believe I discussed this WAAAAY back in this dev log’s infancy- that those interested in all steps of the game development process could take a look at this, post-by-post and see what would potentially lie ahead. I am, by no means, a professional, but making your own game isn’t as beyond common understanding as most may think. After all, there are plenty examples in the market today that serve as proof of that very thought.
So in the interest of helping future developers and for those who want to poke around the game’s files, I’ve compiled all the game’s assets as well as the game’s RPGmaker project file in 2 handy .zips!

This game sounds incredible... I loved Paper Mario as a kid and dearly wished it would receive a ponification. While the fan art of Paper Pinkie sadly doesn't exist. Derpy is probably better as I love Derpy. I shall watch this and stalk this page relentlessly till it is completed.
