Oh my god, wow...

So one of my biggest pet peeves lately with Nintendo nowadays is that I haven’t seen any commercials for anything 3DS or Wii U related on T.V. like I used to constantly see back in the good ol’ days of when they had the GameCube, N64, SNES and the lot. It was always one of my favorite things to look forward to when something new was on the horizon, since the Internet didn’t quite have the same impact that it does now on our society where you can find all this information online instead of on T.V. or in magazines. Now maybe Nintendo HAS been running these types of commercials on the ol’ boobtube and I just haven’t been seeing it since I mostly watch sports channels, news and sometimes the odd thing on Fox, but still…that hasn’t seemed to stop Microsoft from running the same stupid ad’s for Destiny over a hundred thousand times…

It’s sad, really, because a lot of parents that I talk to at work nowadays have kids of their own and they have no idea what a Zelda or a Mega Man even is – but they sure know who the Halo guy is, lol! It’s quite a shame, really, but I guess that’s just the evolution of things…

Anyways, good job, Nintendo; I am impressed. They even had one on for Hyrule Warriors that I just saw right now during the Bears and the Packers game. Keep it up, because it sure beats seeing Brad Marchand of the Boston Beeswax talking about some stupid poem for NHL 15 over-and-over again and seeing Destiny again for the umpteenth time.
