Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention

Why did your past self feel the need to go so so far out of the way to show that Auria's previous life was a normal one? After a single minute in East Naven all I could think about was doing exactly that - meeting Auria's friend and skip everything else is town. Unfortunately I found East Naven to be a nightmare to navigate even with maps... to be fair the game doesn't actually show what the town really was like, simply how Auria remembers it being; especially since she has a new completely-different life to compare it to.

What is the significance of Auria outright stealing a high-value object from someone in town she does not know? I can understand the stress of suburban teenagehood leading to light dishonesty, but this sort of thing reveals more about her character then merely lying about schoolwork. (how was she planning on getting away with it afterwards; is she that short-sighted?) When Auria crosses the bridge there could of been a couple extra lines of dialogue "fine i stole a watch dont hurt me" so the plot can acknowledge that she is capable of petty theft.

Star Stealing Prince

The tone you set for the game is genius; exactly what I wanted to see in a JRPG. Prince Snowe has very real responsibilities before the game has even begun just like any hero should. Yet he is so kind and brings out the best in people, almost no-one who considers themselves human would think about actually opposing him, right?

It manages to truly feel like a journey of exploration, mystery, and danger. Snowe gets the dubious honor of exploring unknown eldrith locations where every corner is just slightly scary for not knowing what is behind and simply due to the otherworldly nature of the setting. Well done.

but can you nerf the bird it is a bit much for a first boss fight

Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention

Wow, Auria's hometown in act 1 is quite... something. It is the single most infuriatingly dull town I've ever seen I refuse to do the sidequests there because I cannot stand the place. I'm very suprised Auria actually wanted to go back there if your goal was to depict Auria's previous life as 'normal' then you succeeded entirely too much

Red Syndrome

Oh man, I absolutely love Ally as a character. She has enough potential for character growth to last a full-length game. You should definitely consider having a similar character in a later project.
