Explanation/Tutorial


1. Learn Recipes from specialists around the world, or find them as loot.

2. You can find and gather Reagents for your potions in a few ways;

Find and Gather them from the environment when you are out exploring.
Buy them from shops.
Some monsters may even drop them.


3. Regularly check your Alchemy Menu to see if you have enough reagents to make anything.
You can open the menu by pressing the 'A' Key.

4. If you know the recipe and have enough reagents the recipe's image will be fully colored.
If you know the recipe but don't have enough reagents the image will be saturated.
If you don't know the recipe you will see the unknown potion image.

5. finally if you know the recipe and have all the reagents then you can go ahead and make the potion,
It will then be added to your inventory ready for use.

This is still in very early stage, any feedback would be appreciated.

I assume only a demo is up right now?

Regardless the screens look amazing and I will have to download and play when I get home tonight :D

The demo that is up right now is the OLD demo, before the graphical overhaul.
The new demo will take some time. :)

@Melkino: At the moment the horizontal stairs are passable, the character walks straight across it, and as you say that looks awkward.
But to fix this I had to "event" the character's movement up the stairs, when they approach them.

Set Move Route: Player
:$>Move Upper Right
:$>Move Upper Right
:$>Move Upper Right

walks diagonally up the stairs. (right stairs)
Not ideal but looks better.

Another way would be to use a 8 directional movement script, so you don't have to event anything.

Yes about the character sprite... It does stick out a bit on this map but I'm not prepared to change all the sprites so late in game, too much work. :)
But I can blend them in better to suit every map. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

@illustrious: The video was for the Sky and Fog, you can see it much clearer in motion then in the screenshot where the fog might not look so good, as a still image.
