I have most of the game's story line figured out but it's just putting it all together and making it is where I am having some troubles with.

You could try breaking the game up into smaller parts. That way, it will be easier for you to work.
(It's psychology-stuff where to attain success in a large-scale goal, you have to set a 'ladder' of steps to get there. No point scaling a wall when you can build a ladder, right?)

This status reminds me that I still have two projects in haitus. I'm not sure what to do with the one, and with the other, I'd be way too happy just to have a playable demo out.

I completely understand what you mean Marrend, I've been working on this and have been putting off learning how to adjust the item menu size.
