[FULL]Sacred Earth: Bonds
What we did horribly on our first games.
I cant recall my very first game, I know it was on RM PSX but my first full scale game The Academy for RM2k3. Basically an ambitious project that never saw the light of day. Back in the day I praised it but now....I just think it looks like shit, the resources clashed, the HUD was ugly, I just wish I could get the systems I created back.

@Little Wing Guy: It looks very nice, however the cabinet covering the window bothers me. The left side is fine as is, no need to clutter it.

One man codes a DS game on his own in 5 years
Cocky or not you have to give the guy credit. I for one could care less about the games plot and all the bragging he is doing, what I am intrigued by is is focus and drive. For us who are constantly working on single maned projects this may be nothing, because we are used to working alone and creating our own worlds, resources, and plot lines, but to him and many who has yet to be exposed to such, this is amazing. I give him props for his work, perhaps if a company buys the game a story can be added, I mean the game just looks bland to me. Shoot give it to me and i'll add an Alucard-esque story of epic proportions to it, but regardless if he is cocky or not he did a good job.

BOSS MONSTARS
What makes a good boss battle: Suspense and Strategy. Sure not every boss battle has to possess an epic theme, a drastic evil, a Characters possessing Special abilities mid way through battle, but what I like to do is make sure that a Boss is actually and enemy that will give player a sense of accomplishment upon defeat. In order to do this Bosses in The Last Bible are few and far between, and when you do meet them each on possess a unique strategy that can be mastered in order to defeat them (A tatic I picked up from MGS: Snake Eater.
There is one boss named Crank, because I am a sucker for Elemental Affinities, Crank possess a strong affinity to the Electro Essence, and utilizes a device that allows him to draw this Electricity out of his body. During the fight players fight Crank in a sewer and have to deal with Crank's Electro Transfiguration which allows him to create a shield of electricity around his body. Basically all physical attacks done to him while in this state will injure the player, Electro attacks are only absorbed and Increase his HP/EP/Strength/Defense Capabilities. So how do you beat him, borrowing from FFX players can always use their environment to defeat enemies. By shooting pipes in the sewer you can soak Crank in water, causing him to electrocute himself as well as prevent him from using Electro attacks without harm to himself. Suspense comes in with the low HP everything possesses in TLB, bosses and party members may possess the same amount of HP, meaning every turn obtained and every Status Effect Counts.

Your Process when making a game
I dunno, I'm a bit of a nerd :P. Before I start any project I plan out basic Character Plot lines as well as a Background upon which I can build. Rather than going straight to the Engine, I then start Scripting. I like my games to act as if they can be read as a Manga or watched as an anime, thus Scripts contain heavy emphasis on Character Personalities, and actions which are reserved for Characters possessing certain personalities and values. After 1 or 2 Chapters have been established, that is when I start up RM2k3. I never complete my Character List, merely I create Characters that are present in my games current lenght (Usually 3-4). With this completed I begin work on Sprites as well as Animations. Since I am a simple man, the majority of my Resources are RTP, Custom, or Heavily Edited. The Resource creation is essential for me, and it is often edited based on the information I think up and add to my scripts. With the information I have edited on my Characters, I begin the Character Creation process. The rest of the Games Database then follows and I move on to mapping. Once completed Scripts and dialogue are added and each Chapter is constructed 1 by 1.
