I'm a hobbyist game maker. I like making games as both a hobby and a challenge. I'm currently trying to make a game using the Linear Motion Battle System similar to Tales of Eternia. If you are interested, check out my youtube of the progress! Located here:

You don't know which is the shift key? O_O It's the one below caps lock. You have to open the menu and then HOLD shift for 2 seconds.

Stand on world map.
Open menu.
Hold shift.

Also, if you don't mind, can you speak English now? I'm having trouble translating from German xD

...unless you have that crippling RM2k3 bug Hero's Realm had, where the music would suddenly stop playing and then if you tried to save, the game would crash and that savefile gets corrupted and unusable.

I never did figure out the cause.


Well shi- I remember the thread about that now. Man, didn't know it could happen in my game too :o All the more reason to always have multiple save files!

The only way you can lose a save is if something happened WHILE saving. And since saving in rpgmaker takes like, 0.2 seconds, I doubt that would happen.

In short, save files cant be lost because of game crashes. Explain your error better. I hope you patched your game because honestly, I can't stress that enough....

EDIT:
map 9999 not found only happens when you quit the game anyway so...

Which version do you have? The first one had errors that need to be fixed, the missing files are here:

The second version has errors fixed. The first one is download from Zshare, second one is download from here, RMN.
