I share your infusiasm for MS Paint and enjoying working with pixels.

The font and it's use of colour is great, it brings it out more than using a simple black and white.

What was your inspiration behind this font?

It was by this screenshot alone that sparked my interest in the game. The use of tiles in these scene are good, especially the water feature and how it falls down the large and impressively standing wall.

I am curious about the metal doors on both sides of the bridge, are these simply for show or do they have purpose?

This is a clever idea and great concept for battles but it is however spoilt slightly by the RTP graphics and could be improved with custom made or maybe other sourced sprites.

The health icons at the top that look as if they display the health and damage taken in battle is a pretty good substitute for a health bar.

What are the icons next to the character sprite in the top right corner of this picture?

The text on the second line has some parts overlapped or cut in some way, although you can still read the words. It looks like a good seen though, just the text threw me.

The overall detail on the Patowa monster sprite is great, I especially like the leering eye and the emotion it conveys.

Thanks for the comment Guru and yes a lot of time went into this map. The overall layout is complete and it just needs a final check up to smooth over any rough designed areas and then to fill it with NPCs.

Mini Music Challenge

For those of you who feel limited by skills in creating music you can download a trial version of Midi Maker 1.01 on the internet which works in a similar fashion to Mario style music maker but has more instruments to play around with.

The program allows you to export your track into a midi format so you can submit it into the music challenge with ease. This is what the program looks like so you can imagine how it will work.

The program is a free trial and some features are locked out and after 50 uses the trial ends but you can re-install the program and start again.
