Huh. A class chart would help a lot I think. Can I expect Kevincalanor's to be canon, or should I wait for another one? It'd help me figure out where to put my characters and what relationships they might have.
Well, the game I was sorta working on has fallen through and I've decided to announce a more certain indefinite hiatus as I will be working on important things in the coming months.
I do have a question for Ertad before I go: Is the 'Ghost Girl' an actual ghost, or is she just a big fan of ghosts? I'm not saying anything like I'm against either, I'm just curious. ^.^

So, I announced her a while ago, but I would like to reserve ID 54 for Hitsuragi Yuureiko, and ID 68 for the unannounced Hanata Haruka.
The ID's I choose get sandwiched anyways, so why not just spread them around?

I've come across a glitch. The game had been working fine, but now, on the screen where you can choose 'Next Day,' 'Save Game,' etc., the cursor is stuck at 'Quit to Title.' If I press an arrow key, the cursor immediately goes back to 'Quit to Title.' The strange thing is that it only stays stuck in full screen mode. When I switch back to windowed mode, it works just fine.
Edit: No matter what screen mode I'm in, the cursor stays stuck on the 'Spend Orbs' screen. Both problems seem to come and go.

I wonder if this has something to do with where your mouse is? I know that trying to use the keyboard when the mouse is hovering over an option has that kind of effect.
That's definitely likely probably the problem. It was doing the exact same thing when I started playing and it drove me nuts for a few hours till I figured it out. Personally, I just moved the mouse over until I was confident the cursor wasn't touching anything, then I unplugged it.

Is it just me, or do her eyes actually sparkle when she's in that "excited" pose? Kinda neat, either way!
They sure do. Though only now do I realise some of the sparkly detail was lost in the resizing. I'll have to fix that. =.=; Also, guess there's not much point in using the hide tags by this point. ^.^;

Are you doing that game as a venture, or...?
Or. Definitely or. I sorta just ignore community events and the likes, most of the time. ^.^; Plus I'd never be able to make a game in a week, even if it's only supposed to be about an hour long. I'd be too finicky on the fine details and things of that nature or other such excuses. ^.^; It's evolved to the point that I desire to give it it's own custom graphics and systems and things, as apposed to using the standard graphics. But, again, we kinda suck at scripting (not eventing, by the way) so it'll be time before we can fully realize any of the systems we want, if we can't get help.
... feel like I should stop talking about this on the Heartache 101 threads already. ^.^; lol

So, it technically doesn't change anything, but don't expect anything from me for a while as I am busy helping co-develop an RPG Maker game with my brother. Though he already seems to be losing interest. =.=; If things continue as they have been going so far with it's development, then I will be quite busy in the coming weeks/months (mostly artwork and making the game world a little more interesting than my brother's skills/imagination would allow) and will not be able to make any updates on my characters. Big difference from how it is right now, huh? ^.^;
Also, have some Yuureiko (tentative name), a distant and aloof girl (there's more to her in the 'Show' tab. Information in there is slightly spoilerific. only slightly though.):

-Shameless plug of sorts-
For those interested, the fore-mentioned game me and my brother are working on is a steampunk (with magic!) set in it's own unique fantasy world. A world which is in a constant state of dimensional fluctuation. Also, know that both of us suck at scripting. Just throwing that out there for no subtle reason...

But that's just how she is on the surface, when you get to know her you learn that she's a goofy, energetic girl who is obsessed with ghosts.
The expression she usually wears whenever she brings up ghosts:

... here it is the First version of the Custom parts package.
Downloaded. Browsed. Messed around with.
If I was ever under the allusion that I had the custom tachie content torch in the first place, I would be passing it to you right now.
Also, had no idea you were basing your images on vocaloids. ^.^

1920x1440, that's huge ^^ I'm not sure if it helps or complicate things :p
Actually, though I don't know much about digital art, I have learned from the many people I've asked and tutorials I've seen that it is best to work on an image at a size a few times larger than the intended size of the finished product. This gives you a less confined space to work with and also helps to hide any minor mistakes you may have made. ^.^ 1920x1440 is actually 3x the in-game resolution, 640x480.

... no one started clapping when I made stockings. T^T
Oh well, Kevincalanor's look a lot better anyways. O.O
Might I ask what program you're using?

I've painted them with a soft and large brush, copied and repainted the couture layer, and to finish, I've made a black and white copy of the skirt's shadow and set it to "multiply". ^^
PS. Transparency and "Levels command" helps a lot when the shadows are to dark or too light. :3

... and now that I'm back from lurking... (WARNING: long 'Quotes' ahead.)
I agree full-heartedly with your last sentiment there, by the way. ^.^ As for the hair itself, I personally like it a lot (definitely a lot better than anything I can do with my limited digital skill and attention span ^.^;), but I feel the shading (mostly the highlights) could emulate the medium build girl's standard a bit better. Though I guess you said as much yourself. ^.^; -EDIT- (I might actually be able to help with that but... well read the upcoming side-note ^.^;)
Also, a side note, though I am intending to make new materials for the Medium Build Girl, I can state with confidence that nothing's going to get done anytime soon. ^.^
I've got nothing really to say about Megumi that hasn't already been said, but I think she sounds really interesting and I can't wait for the content to be completed. ^.^ Well, I do kinda impulsively want to match the color of her eyelash area with her hair, but I think that's just me. ^.^;
On a side note, I'm working an an event CG for Sarako. It'll be my first completed piece of digital art... when it's completed. ^.^; At current it's a pure white 1920x1440 image, but I have gotten most of the concept on actual paper.
Huh. Thought I had more to say than that. =.=;
-EDIT-
... how did I forget to add this earlier? =.=; I find myself rapidly growing jealous of your skills. ^.^; lol I don't really have an opinion on what might pass as <player>, but I personally think that works. A new note brought up by this; this being accepted gives me the go ahead on making a CG event where someone just so happens to lodge their shoe in <player>'s shin. ^.^ (wasn't sure whether or not I should actually depict <player>.)

I was wandering trough the threads to catch up all I've lost the time I was off, I noticed that we have a lot of good chars developing but we're getting a little short on visual options :p
So I tried to give the local hairdresser a hand ^^
-Image-
I'll try to make some new parts for the 'Meduim build', however, make a 'Medium build +' will be harder than expected, I'm having a bad time to match the original shades :\
Edit: Oh, Falcon is already at it. Here am I being all impulsive again :p
I'll stick to it anyway, more parts the better right? ^^

Hello!~
You all seem like lovely people that can direct me in the right direction of making a -successful- custom character. This is a great game, and it interested me into wanting to make a character. Also, I'd just like to note that I have experience in writing, and I'm aiming for my character to be -flawed- not perfect.
-Image-
Her name is Megumi Nakamura, I'd like to reserve ID 94 for her. But without further ado, I'd like to paraphrase the story I have so far. She's returning to the players school after moving various times. However, she did live in the area, and was acquaintanced with Miki as a first year student (Note: Megumi is a second year student currenty).
Now for personality, she's very inattentive and doesn't aspire for much (perhaps "realistic" in a sense?). I'm planning for her to have a dry wit at times, and, at some points be a little irritable.
So that's basically what I've got so far. Please constructively criticize, if you will.

Typical PS. Some of you guys may know I'm pushing my luck trying a CG, can you guys easy identify him as "the player"?
(Only base lines right now)
