Using RM2k Font Patch on RM2k3

The fonts are already installed, but they don't work for 2003, only 2000. That was why I asked if removing 2000 might cause the fonts to shift gears to 2003.

I tried reinstalling them directly, but my comp won't allow me to replace the ones installed already, nor will it let me remove them.

Why don't you try installing the rm2k3 fonts...DER!

Using RM2k Font Patch on RM2k3

First try dropping the two font files directly in \WINDOWS\FONTS. This should install the fonts and usually works.

Format specifications are in the help file. Search for "Image Specifications" (or something like taht, I forget).

File Size help

I really don't understand why people would not download a 150MB game. That is not a lot of memory. You can always delete the thing. If the game is good, it will be downloaded. What does the average desktop hard drive amount to, like 160GB? C'mon, 150MB is pultry.

File Size help

I wouldn't worry about it. I would much rather listen to mp3s than midis while I am playing. I just bought a 500GB external from Fry's for $115.00. Disk space is cheap.

XP help with changing inventory for different characters

I guess it's a lot easier if you already know a programming language. I write in C# most of the time, but Ruby is interpreted, so you don't have to worry about type saefty too much and things like that. It's not too bad, and it is a useful skill if you spend a lot of time on the computer.

The thing is, it would be easier to learn a little ruby and script the thing than to use events.

Scripting Help

This is an edit. My first post was...dumb. He wants to change the hue of the character in game like you can in the menu. I don't know if you can do that through scripting...sorry :)

Someone who has more experience than me in XP may know.

Scripting Help

errr...huh? Do you mean that you have made a character generator for rm? If that is the case, what language is it written in? If you are asking for help scripting in XP or VX, we will need to know which one you are using, as the API has changed in VX.
