Set a deadline for BR's Kickstarter to launch around March 1 - my 29th birthday! Not sure which is aging better - the game itself, or my face after desperately struggling to finish this trailer in time.

I grossly underestimated how much of my time would end up devoted to the more mundane aspects of Game-Dev. Sending weekly progress emails, "marketing" on Twitter, hiring new team members, invoices, copying old assets, etc. Necessary evil, I guess!

Finally tried Octopath. The writing wasn't as terrible as I expected, and the battle-system was actually one of the most engaging I've played in a long time (thankfully, it's at the forefront). Verdict is still out on the visuals. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Finally watched Last Jedi. It felt like someone's bad fan fiction, beefed up with Disney's behemoth budget and dignified with a John Williams score. I'm literally in shock they're trusting this director with another 3 movies.
