How do you guys feel about pop punk?
I haven't listened to Daisy too much yet, but apparently the other guy (Vinnie?) wrote most of the songs on it. My favourites are actually the demos between Deja and Devil and God, and then seconded by Deja Entendu. The Devil and God had good songs but I didn't like it as a full record. Your Favourite Weapon is just really fun, despite all the "I hope you choke and die" bits, which make it a little embarrassing to listen to.

Dance Dance Dance was probably my favourite Murakami book, even though it seems like an average book when I think about it.
How do you guys feel about pop punk?
Pop punk really has two definitions. The first being very "poppy" punk that's due to a strong influence by the Ramones, and the second being punk music that's made accessible to teenagers with mainstream pop sensibilites. It leads to a lot of confusion. Especially since a band can be both definitions at the same time.

I think the gay community doesn't want a new name for marriage, they want marriage. If a new name was OK, I think it'd be a non-issue.
