Defense/Mind in Rm2k3
well, this patch looks nice, however he screwed up in the resolution issues... I thing he should do another update compatible with smaller resolutions.

Sign me up for this too. I will release an update for one of my games, or maybe something new... not sure, I'll think it through during the day.
Misaos - Getting the word out

To be honest, RRR is the exact same way.
I don't agree, but okay.
Make or break!
I personally think that whoever isn't willing to spend at least half hour gameplay in any game just isn't up to playing anything to begin with. You can't judge a game when you play so little, 10 minutes could go in 1 scene, depending the situation... that's why I take some time, and if it's really that bad, I stop, but I at least check the basics of the game, and play for 1 hour, after all as much as time is important, it just goes away...
I agree that you must have people interested from the beginning, but in reality you need to interest the player until the end of the game, as a former reviewer in RRR I used to play a lot of games, and while some were nice in the beginning, after 2 hours it was a complete pain to continue.
I personally do the straight to the action and the little talk at the beginning depending on what game I'm making, and the plot/theme, etc... it's all relative.

Vista vs. XP and Formatting Your Computer!
I only format my computer when I have serious issues such as socket problems, in which you can't get online no matter what unless you format your hard-drive and install windows again. I will not discuss the differences between XP and Vista, cause I never ever seen vista before, but from what I heard XP is better.
Black Cape [Symphonic Rock/Metal]
well for once finally someone doing music I can like, symphonic metal, It would be great if you can make it more faster for other songs, this is good, but it sounds more suitable for an alternative battle, or another scenery. For a boss battle something more charged will do the job... also a normal battle theme suits fine.
Exit Fate, now with more Tom Sellec
I played this for a little bit back when It wasn't completed, although I'm not really sure, I downloaded it off an indie site. This is much better than the Last scenario... to be honest, I don't know why people were soo trilled about it when it had zero animations in battle, don't blame me I just think games need animations, at least FF had animated characters... I won't continue this since I'm heading off-topic. But yeah, this game looks totally like suikoden in the field, as well the army system, which is a plus considering I'm a fan of the first suikoden games.
Dragon Quest: Swords
I personally never really been much of a fan of dragon quest games... but I saw a video of the dragon quest for the wii, could be something I would enjoy since you swing the sword with the nunchaku.
How did you find rpgmaker.net and why did you stick around?
I found RMN while googling english rpgmaker communities, then I came across it and joined in order to advertise my projects. I stayed from time to time cause I liked some of the topics made at hand, mostly moronic stuff to be honest, I get lazy sometimes when it comes to threads about serious stuff such as politics, and some others cause I don't seem to be much into, in overall. Also, there is organization in the main site, which is a plus, and the maker points system.
