What is Warrior World?
Well, it's an rm2k3 RPG that is an experiment to take the SAVE THE PRINCESS cliche and blow it totally out of proportion. It features a DBS with some nifty commands, lots of chests with phat loot, and a villain that loves to throw out random quotes. The ultimate goal is to make a fun and streamlined game with a somewhat interesting story. It's sort of like borderline minimalism... an NES RPG with better graphics... a truly rpgmakery rpgmaker game... a really fun way to pass the time!

So, some people really like your RTP work. Does this game hold up?
Uhh, I'm sorry to say that I really didn't put that much energy into some maps while others are really freaking cool. The inn screenshot is an example of a pretty lame map... actually most buildings don't have inners because I hate having to go in and out of buildings in RPGs. Tompopopo's inn gets a map because it's the access point to a dungeon.

I managed to not take any screenshots of the awesome maps, but then again I only took screens of the first twenty minutes of the game.


How long is this demo?
Uh, if you do all the optional stuff probably 2-3 hours? I dunno, the dungeons and stuff are kind of short because this game is supposed to be fast-paced and BOOM BOOM BOOM unless you take the time to go dig up archeology sites and trade potions with elves and and and and yeah.


Where does it end?
In a swampy area, when you switch back to Henry's party after playing as Reba for a while. The game will tell you when it's over and then let you run around and kill stuff if you want, and if you save there you'll get to keep a small Rank bonus for one of the characters (u played demo!!!1 present).

Who are Reba and Henry? Who else will I meet?
HENRY is a soldier in his thirties that was dismissed from his position three months ago. Now he lives as a hermit in a cave, but just got a message from Princess Reba. Henry speaks in a really terrible bastardization of Olde English which may or may not be the reason for his dismissal. If he's not plagued with any other status effect, the Super ability lowers his attack power but regenerates his HP and MP.

REBA, the princess of Tiller, just so happens to be a little absent-minded. She's tough, however, and will perservere for as long as needed (this is ignoring her low HP). Reba's low tolerance of others is personified in her skillset, which lets her poison enemies with her normal attacks or blow them darn lizards up. Her Cheetah command doubles her AGI for the rest of battle as she defends.

ILLINOIS sucks at life. Ask any guard in Tiller Palace, they'll tell you-- he has to live out in the stables because of all the hate! His s-stutter doesn't help matters, either. A truly pathetic being that is only useful if you either pump him full of Mental and Skill tabs or have him heal each turn.

URSULA will eat you if she's pissed off (which she is if her HP drops too low). A truly fascinating woman, aged only four months.

BING and TING are marital monks that go around helping people solve relationship problems. This doesn't bring in a lot of income, so they also serve as freelance spies for anybody willing to pay. Ting has a third job as a sues chef, letting her trade HP for MP.

QUEEN TILLER is not in this demo unless you find her in the back of Tiller Palace.

KING TILLER is dumb.

ASHEN is, so far, the primary villain. For the past several months he has been kidnapping princessii from both Tiller and Ricard. What an evil man! He continually taunts the characters with odd quotes and snippets of the game's true story zomg zomg zomg.

VINNIE is Ashen's chicken.

There also also bazillions of other NPCs to meet! Talk to EVERYBODY... just be wary of bitchy landlubberesses.


I hate grinding in RM* games.
Unless it's Hero's Realm or that series by what's-his-face (Euprhorrian or something), ditto! So levels are basically passive HP/MP boosts in this game. Stats are increased by finding/buying equipment and earning/hunting down stat-boosting tabs.

Any bugs or errors I should know about?
I hope not! I can't remember whether or not I remembered to remember to fix the missing punctuation after one of Ashen's lines. Eh. Also, the game should run without the RTP but no promises! If anybody could test this I will love you a little bit.
