I remember when WotC via Magic and Paizo worked on their inclusiveness which triggered the usual gg and grog suspects. I'm glad the train has kept rolling over these shitbags with this BG expansion. Next time go the full nine yards and make 'em a playable character!

I didn't know about this and agree, it's pretty cool.
Yeah, I've been going through the reviews, and I've only found a handful of racist ones. The majority of them just say the DLC is glitched like mad.

I suppose I have to give a more nuanced position on this, never mind the twitter drama from earlier.
I read the quote as to what Mizhena actually said in game. Call me a moron, an imbecile with poor taste in literature ect, but I didn't see anything problematic with it.
I also heard about a vid that arbitrarily kills this character. I confess to not having actually seen such a vid, nor really caring to. If it is indeed killing said character due to being trans, then all I have to say about it is that its pretty fucking stupid. I don't think anyone's gonna jump in and give me any context to check it out so we can leave that at that.
I have stressed the point that the bigger amount of flak in regards to the game from what I've seen is in fact, the bugs. I get the feeling that some people want to write off people complaining about how buggy it is some expression of their bigotry which I feel is at the very least, a bit much.
As for the game actually good or shit? If were going to by what there now, the mass complaints of bugs and compatibility issues doesn't help. If it were in an ideal, optimal state, Id have to base it on the writing. not to mention that supposedly its quite linear, perhaps itd have a chance in my book, I dunno, not that many people would want my opinion on it anyways. :P

I bought BG:EE and BG2:EE since they were 85% off on GOG so it was only $6. I held off buying the Expansion.

To be fair, if you dish it, you can take it. If you take a shot at a group of people not exactly known for thinking before acting, and you then act surprised when they retaliate against you, I don't know what to tell you. If I didn't know any better, I would even say this was done on purpose to draw attention away from the fact that the game is so buggy... But that being said, not that that excuses their behavior. Trying to hurt a game by leaving bad reviews is a shitty thing to do no matter what side it comes from.
