The World Is Made of Paper

I tried this. I actually started doing a video review but I stopped.

Actually, it's more of a book than a visual novel. I guess I was lured by the pretty pictures and I thought there would loads of them with some text to them.

I guess I was expecting some sort of comic book judging from the screenshots but it's mostly reading. Kudos on the art however, it was pretty good.

Eyes Without a Face

Argh, YDS, is this google translator? Why not use the translation I did for your game. I just noticed this :).

Maker3D

The application costs 200 EURO

Holy. Shit.

RPG Maker is being hacked to death and it's 60 bucks, what do you think is going to happen if you charge 200 EURO for your software dude?

Sorry but it really isn't worth 200 E, it's just not reasonable.

Holy shit, 200 E... 200 E! 277$!!!

Devil Star

I don't think he was too hard. I didn't grind at all and went straight for the boss so you know.

Don't forget to sumbit your game again once you've made some changes.

Omega Cerberus

Yup, as I've said:
I decided to make this public as I didn't want all the time I've spent in this to be wasted.
The dialogue isn't as polished as I would want it to be but I'll release it anyway.

That's a choice I've made and I'll live with the consequences. There might be a few occasions where something isn't translated but I thought that I'd better release this then not release anything at all.

As long as you can understand what's going on and enjoy the game by Sill Valt, that's good enough for me.
The original game is actually written pretty simply so I had to choice to stick to the original or rephrase things as I would have put it. I've decided to stick to the original as much as possible. I'm still at my beginnings at translating fiction so I should've perhaps have been more creative in my writing.

It's difficult to determine how much you should interpret and how much you should translate as precisely as possible.

I might work on this in the far future but I doubt it so try to enjoy it as much as you can the way it is right now.

Everlasting Journey

I've watched the trailers on youtube (you might want to use the youtube tags so that people can watch everything directly from RMN) and I thought your game looked... awesome.

Everything is pretty much appealing and the writing is superb. My only gripe is with the whole "getting drunk" thing which I think is a bit cliché but that's just nitpicking.

DIVIDED INFINTY

About this:

I think voice acting is a very difficult thing to pull off. It's difficult for the voices to sound natural and *stick* to the game and the characters.

I commend the effort into doing this, the idea itself is really original and neat.

As for the voice acting in the trailer, I think it needs some work (it's not worthless or anything, just needs more work). The voice acting felt "forced" to me, I thought it didn't sound very natural and thus credible. It reminded me of those anime dubs made by fans (which I have a hard time with ;)).

It's hard to explain but I think the best way to do this would probably to put you "in character" and react how you would if you were in this situation as opposed to trying to recreate a reaction artificially (ie, "Ok the character is angry now, I need to shout).

Just my two cents, keep going at this and it'll become something really unique.
