I Miss the Sunrise
I Miss the Sunrise
All very good observations! Although the bug is pretty scary.
The ship had to make an emergency course correction, and if I recall correctly it still has momentum to pass through another node for one turn. But, yeah, it's all computer simulated anyway, so it was more about rotating in the other direction and going full thrust.
As for 2:

This is a very good point! However, in the grand scheme of things, the Shine wasn't that long ago (and they've only been underground for anout the same amount of time.) They would probably start noticing the effects after a few hundred thousand more years, though. That's my explanation, anyway!
I Miss the Sunrise
Thanks for your notes! Hopefully the next game(s) won't be as complicated and will be more fair for both sides.
I Miss the Sunrise
No problem; I read it just fine!
Battle trust does increase for each battle won; it's not just a multiplier. It goes down if someone is lost, though. Lacertians are tricky because they are front line fighters, but keeping Daszk safe on the back row for a while might help him build trust, as well as a lot of defense boosters!
Thanks for playing and posting!

You can make them turn around, but they (so far) won't actually move in to investigate. They still follow their usual patrol patterns, which is why the hatchlings move around afterward.

RMN v4.3 Bugs
I, uh, think I broke something.
I uploaded a new screenshot, and in the description I added a URL to an animated version of it. It looks fine when the image is alone, and even on the front page of the main site, but on my profile's images tab, the screenshot is not clickable. Instead, the link from the text overlays it, and that is clickable. You can see it in the top left image here: http://rpgmaker.net/games/4395/images/
Is there a better way to share animated screenshots? It's a small feature that's not really worth a video upload, but still needs to be seen in action.

The Reconstruction
The Reconstruction
I've updated the generator to include skillsets now. It picks either a fighter or a caster loadout tailored to the character's element. I made up a few skills and borrowed some from The Drop to fill in some gaps, but since it's up to GM discretion anyway, I don't think it will disrupt things. I'm curious to see how things like chain count and rush meter affect low-integer dice rolls, though!
If you come up with some firm numbers or changed effects, let me know and I will modify the form. I registered for the site and will post a character tonight. Feel free to link to the generator page on the meantime.

The Reconstruction
Sure; the plague was during a small time window in general, and it was a pretty knee-jerk reaction by the fih'jik people in the first place. Since I never really detailed the length of a year or any specific dates, I think the numbers are soft enough to work in any way that AQ wants to define the timeline.
The Reconstruction
She was definitely there; she (rather heartbreakingly) recalls it during her "optional" quest in chapter 5. She'd still be a teenager at the time, though. The corps probably wouldn't have used slaves, being that they were spawned off from the "main" group in Do`Ssha, but it's possible that the liberation mandate could have just recently been issued, so you can go whichever way you think would be more fitting to the character.
I'm glad you like it! I'll work on filling in skills tomorrow. Rather than randomizing every single one (which could really screw someone over if they don't know the ins and outs of the system), I'll probably have premade "sets" and make it assign one at random based element and weapon or armor type.
After that, I guess I should get around to registering for the site and posting a character, too!
